  1. Merry Christmas to everyone and thanks for being a huge part of TIA and making this the best forum and community.
  2. Sorry to hear about everything going on and that sucks it took so long to figure things out. Prayers for you and your family.
  3. Nice looking truck. I can't believe how clean it is.
  4. That's my luck. Would much rather have beer.
  5. Wish I could chime in, but never tried one with a handle like that. I have a bosch like the 5031K and love it. Maybe I am just use to it, but its comfortable and easy to move around. I would think the BO5041K might be nice, but not sure if it has an on/off switch or you have to use the trigger. If its a trigger, it might be a pain after a while or at least that's what i would think because it would seem like you would have to use two hands all the time. These sanders seem small enough where you can easily move them around with one hand. I would think with the BO5041K you might have a tendency to be pushing down all the time since you have that hand resting on the front which might cause a 3.0 amp motor to stall. I am probably wrong about this, so just do the opposite and you'll be fine.
  6. That is very cool. Like the fact you can adjust everything for different sizes. Nice job. When I get some time on my hands, I would like to get the plans, but that won't be for about another 18 years.
  7. I still think flat head is the wave of the future. JK.
  8. I grew up around and learned from people who never cared about safety. Unfortunately I have taking the same road. I try really hard to break that habit, but it's hard.
  9. I hope so. I really like where they were going with it and how easy it was, plus the display. Hopefully the next gen will be more reliable.
  10. I love learning about this stuff. Never knew that
  11. That is cool looking. Music would be a nice touch. You have done some pretty cool looking signs.
  12. I installed one in my garage and it's night and day. Well I didn't, I had a friend install it. I don't like playing with electric, don't know enough. Thanks for your service. Can't wait to see
  13. It's cool they ship. I have to get back into woodworking
  14. What a difference. To bad your weren't closer to me, I hire you to do my kitchen. Great job
  15. Sounds like the people have no perception of reality. I have run into a couple trust fund people by me and it always seems like the same story.
  16. Thanks for the info. That one in St Charles is about 30 minutes away, so I am going to that one. Without Dan
  17. Welcome and your right down the street from us. We are in the Crystal Lake area. I have been working on a house in Naperville for the last year, so not far from you at all. Glad to have you hear and I am sure we will run into each other.
  18. That stinks. That was happening to me all the time. Put a new sub in the garage and worth every penny. I was always blowing stuff and it was a pain. Now nothing, everything just runs.
  19. Well and thanks for the feedback. Collecting tools can be expensive, but worth it in the long run. Well not according to my wife.
  20. Very nice review. Detailed and informative.
  21. There has to be a better way. I think it's a conspiracy. I think the tape measure people get together with the pencil people and send people to steal their tools back. That way they stay in business because we are always buying them.
