  1. I own a high impact pair by dewalt for $10-$12, can't remember model name, but I treat my safety glasses like I do my phone. If you're tossing them in a tool bag/bucket keep buying cheep sets. You'll continue to scratch even the best glasses like that. Edit: I almost forgot to recommended mesh glasses like these. http://www.baileysonline.com/Safety-First-Aid/Safety-Glasses/Goggles/Bugz-Eye-Mesh-Goggles-each.axd That's what I wore when I was logging. They keep the saw dust, grit, metal shavings out. Fine dust will get in. They will not fog up but I dont think they are high impact rated.
  2. lol Here's something along that line Chris. http://gaydargun.com/
  3. No matter your stance there are two things that really polarize people, politics and religion.
  4. Yea she's a keeper for sure. Last night she says to me, "I'm glad you like your tools, even though it means more work. Oh, I bought a new light for the kitchen. Can you put it up tonight?" lol I guess it's already started.
  5. Yep. My gf got it at our local store.
  6. My girlfriend just picked me up the Milwaukee kit, it came with a free non Fuel m18 Sawzall. I don't know if that promo is in all Home Depot stores or not, but it may be worth a look for you.
  7. My girlfriend decided that she wants to remodel the bathroom this spring, and has been asking me what tools I'm going to need. I told her drill/driver, m12 hackzall, oscillating tool, tile cutter, etc. So I was off today watching our daughter, my girlfriend gets home and says, "Damn it I forgot to get some Pepsi. Could you please go get some?" So I grudgingly go get some. When I get home here is what I find. Apparently she hit up HD and picked up the m18 fuel driver/impact kit with a free m18 Sawzall. She also picked out a 12pc kit of Milwaukee blades and Makita impact gold bits. I'm pretty sure she had some helpful associate helping. She also grabbed up a busted box 24v Ryobi weeder/edger for $50. It's almost like Christmas or my birthday. I think I'll keep her around for a while.
  8. Here are two links for the radio. http://www.fastenal.com/web/products/details/0225231;jsessionid=Q0FzScCRQwCSBWL57NkfTszPzx8nylrspFbKZvhkLLDGgW549H9Q!-764223504!-1514844689?isPunchout=false http://loventools.com/metabo-radio-with-charger-rc14-4-18.html
  9. What's funny is that a lot of these prices are their every day price. Then they toss you a bone with a couple so they don't look so bad. They really shouldn't claim a percentage off of msrp if they never sell it at that.
  10. A lot of these prices have been the same for quite a while, so I'm not thinking it's much of a sale. However there are some good deals. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=amb_link_398714102_2?ie=UTF8&bbn=228013&rh=i%3Atools%2Cn%3A228013%2Cp_89%3ADEWALT&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=merchandised-search-2&pf_rd_r=1W2YP35RDT2MRXEDZA8T&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1716349502&pf_rd_i=8330587011
  11. 10% off non Fuel m18 kits. http://www.acetoolonline.com/Milwaukee-Tool-Specials-s/32507.htm
  12. You should be able to buy/make jaw liners. If the dogs are removable you may want to just make them. If you do go for a second vice I would go for the end or face varieties, the screw mechanism is mounted under the bench.
  13. I completely agree Chris. I also think a lot of folks have developed a lap dog syndrome. They need constant validation, not only are they hooked on welfare, they need others to tell them how good they are, to agree with their perspective. If you don't, often times you are labeled a bigot.
  14. Hey. I'm an equal opportunity asshole too. The people that piss me off the worst are those that accuse me of being a racist or prejudiced. Like they know me. Them jumping to conclusions because I'm white just proves their prejudice.
  15. Nice review. You're right DR, it does look pretty compact.
  16. Well, I think we all know where Chris is going to be the 20th of March.
  17. I don't know how many of you follow TWW, but here's an awesome giveaway. A PM1000 table saw. http://www.thewoodwhisperer.com/giveaway/
  18. The only thing I know about LoggerHead is that their suing Sears. They developed and built (in America), the Bionic wrench and sold it exclusively through Sears. Sears stalled holiday negotiations with them long enough to come out with a Chinese knockoff, the Max Axess.
  19. I contacted Timberwolf Tools about the Mafell MF 26 cc. Here is what they sent.
