  1. As an ex-logger, maybe a little crazy, but not suicidal. If the mf 26 or Mafells other groove cutter work half as good for dados as the videos I've seen I would use them. They don't use a traditional dado stack, so they may be safer. Imagine the time they would save you.
  2. It's a lot like our food, in that a handfull of corporations control so many brands.
  3. Lol that's crazy. Cool that they have feller bunchers.
  4. Nice review. I bought my gf the heated hoodie for Christmas. She absolutely loves it. You're right about them attracting attention. There are still people that see the lighted button and ask about it. Two women we work with have bought themselves one. The only complaint has been the hoodies only come in mens sizes. The smallest gal swims in the mens small. Maybe Milwaulkee should consider womens sizes and colors.
  5. Not a problem. Just happy to help.
  6. Yes I'm sitting around on my lunch bored as hell, so on further searching I found the NFU 32 by Mafell also the description says it's for dado and grove cutting. http://www.mafelltoolstore.com/grma.html Edit: If the site is current this is available in the US.
  7. I don't think it's available in the states but this is probably more what you want. http://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&persist_app=1&v=upmyNmJRNgo
  8. You could also try a lancelot disc for a grinder if you've got steady hands. I wouldn't try it for a long dado, but it probably wouldn't be bad for a few inches. I think you can stack them too.
  9. Reg you could use a router for dados, or even a jig and a circ saw I suppose.
  10. Definitely rust and maybe oil? The color is odd. I find it strange that even a lot of the five stars state there were problems. The best compressor five stars for sure. Oh it leaks a little but that's ok. Like they don't know any better. As long as the compressor builds pressure, doesn't leak, and shuts off before blowing the relief valve it should be ok. Amazon is always good about returns.
  11. Yep. His was the quietest I've seen. It's a lot better than just lining a box with sound dampening foam.
  12. Wow. It's like tool porn for Conductor! They look nice.
  13. Check your inline fuse too. You can jump it to test it. Also does it happen when you roll either window, or just one?
  14. Use solder and heat shrink wire wrap next time.
  15. The one I went to in Vegas had a viewing area. You can't bid, but you could watch the auction, and you can look at the cars and memorabilia before the auction. To bid you have to register and pay a fee of around $500, and, I think, put down a limit deposit or get financing ahead of time.
  16. There's a guy like that up here. Unfortunately he's a hoarder. All his rigs sit under lean tos and rot. He's got a '42 Dodge truck that I harass him about whenever I see him. He tells me his kids can sell everything he has when he's dead, but he ain't giving up his collection. His collection of rotten rubber and rust. There's what he says is a 66 el camino, it's a total loss, so rusted out you can push your finger through the quarter panel.
  17. It's actually only $50-$60 to get in. The registration fee to bid is around $500.
