  1. I couldn't agree more DR. After packing a chainsaw around almost every day for a few years, my back is tore up. I wish I had listened to the guy that taught me to fell timber when he told me use a back brace. Of course I was invincible back then. lol
  2. Dude I fell for that one hard. Was out shootin pool and drinkin beers after work one night, this nice looking (after a few drinks) gal walks up. She tells me about her mouse tat on her hip. "Nope don't see it." says I. "Oh it's a little lower. Look closer," she says as she scoots her pants down a bit more. So i get my face closer. This happens 5-6 times. We were damn near lips to lips by the time she hit me with the punch line. At least she was clean.
  3. That's cool. I just use a fellers wedge and coat hanger. That air wedge would help a lot.
  4. Just wait for the Festool tat on his ass! Then you'll know he's a lost cause.
  5. Love these old catalogs and hand books. I was browsing through some on wkfinetools.com the other day. Early mechanical saws were scary looking machines. Some of the catalogs from pre WWI give you instructions for ordering via telegraph. Cool stuff Conductor. Keep em coming.
  6. Nicholas I'm not trying to come down on you, but in reading the forum rules I saw nothing about keeping things PG. The only rules I read were no religious, political, or spam posts. Out of decency there is some purposely letter swapping i.e. a$$, not because it's in the rules. If swear words or allusions to sexuality or body parts offends you, I would suggest maybe Disney or Nick jr forums. There is enough censorship elsewhere. You are probably to young to know who George Carlin is, but I think he said it best: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=vbZhpf3sQxQ&app=m

    Good idea

Except for breaking wooden handles, I've never worn out a hammer before it disappeared.
  8. I have a hunch it's activating the lignin in the wood, which would act like a glue. Similar to when they extrude saw dust into pellets, it's the lignin that holds the saw dust together. I doubt the joint would hold very well. If it did it would be good for veneers, or something like butcher block tabletops.
  9. Your link wasn't working for me. I cut it down for you Reg. http://www.festoolproducts.com/Festool-M0700-98-Piece-Centrotec-Installers-Set-p/m0700.htm
  10. To be honest all I've ever used is their outdoor gear. I never had a problem with them, well, except their electric chainsaw. Then again I've never liked any electric chainsaw. According to an email, they're going to update the 40v lineup.
  11. Milwaukee did confirm on Facebook there is 2 4.0 batteries. We'll see if they fix the listing and overview.
  12. It could be. Remember though, just because it's in the picture doesn't mean it's necessarily in the kit. I go by what they have listed.
  13. It would be nice to get an update from some of them.Edit: I just realized this made me sound like a chick sitting by the phone waiting for her date to call. lol
  14. I think you're right, since there are no batteries with the kit.
  15. I was wondering the same thing.
  16. Hell that's nothin. I have male cousins named Kim and Kelly, their fathers name is Sharon! At least you share a name with one of the coolest automotive designers and racer, Caroll Shelby.
  17. After reading the article, I can understand what they're trying to do; trying to create a standard to measure the power/ work load of a drill. It doesn't matter if you have 5000ft•lbs of torque if your drill only moves at 10 rpms, nor if you you have 5000rpm but only 10ft•lbs of torque it's gonna take you a long time to do work. Torque and rpm are such ingrained ratings and selling points, it's doubtful that anyone else is going to move away from them anytime soon. Maybe if Dewalt had left the torque and rpm with an equation to UWO it wouldn't have created such mistrust.
