Thanks Mike!

Thank you Buddy! I appreciate that! Merry Christmas bro!

Gravity fed Travis. I like those ones better. I have wanted this for quite a while and naturally was going to purchase the Earlex and save a 100 but this is friggin awesome. Plus that Lie Nielsen is a piece of artwork.

Pretty cool stuff over here! My son William is home for his first Christmas! My Wife still went out and got me some wonderful things including a really cool Sony BT speaker for my future shop! My Mother in Law gave me a $100 GC to Woodcraft plus my Mom and Dad gave me a $50 GC to Lowes and I also received a $75 GC to HD. My wife got me a bunch of cool plans but also a Lie Nielsen Tongue and Groove Plane and the Fuji Semi Pro HVLP! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Nothing to hang my hat on but I don't go to Lowes too often for power tools, but I have never been impressed with their power tool lineup. I don't own any of their tools, I don't own their hand tools but truthfully the hand tools seem to be solidly made. The reason I don't own any Kobalt power tools is because of things like what Fletcher pointed out. I'm not a pro. I have a regular job I report to and though I do a lot of physical inspections of equipment and am highly trained to do this, I am not a mechanic. But I do have a very well laid out and thoughtfully equipped wood shop and at not one point have I ventured into Kobalt power tools and @Fletcher94 is actually right. Even when they were putting their new 24v cordless line out, it FEELS cheap. I don't know why, I've handled them enough to know I don't like them. I could be completely off base but for several years I have just not been interested. And this coming from the guy who thinks the Black and Decker 20v Autosense is a fantastic bit of kit. Their miter saws don't impress me at all. I have owned a Ridgid miter and it was crap too though. I will say they have been improving their lineup at least "physically" so when I go in I almost always look at their power tools but for years I just haven't been impressed. I will say when Ridgid comes out with a new tool, I always look at it and think.....hmmmm....and I have personal experience with one of their crappy miter saws, but they seem better built, and more thoughtfully designed.

Geesh I had no idea!

Cool Travis, I already got an HD card plus a Lowes card! Woohoo! Now, if only Lowes and HD sold Festool......

Looks awesome bro! And congratulations sir! I'm lying on my couch with my son Will, our first born, November 14th and a couple of months early, in the day bed listening to him sleep right now. It's absolutely beautiful.

But yes, Sears screwed a lot of people and that's why I have a hard time buying tools from them. Loggerhead. That's why I don't own a pair myself Travis

Really? THATS what killed him for you???? His televised death for me was on This Old House!!! I remember watching it with my Dad and he used to call him a hack way back then!!!

Yeah, I'm not sure about the mobile base but certainly see a lot of advantages for my routers

The DS450 plus a large and a small for 109. then I noticed the price on all three had gone down so I bought two more large and one small Toughsystem cases. Makes sense as I gave my brother all of my l boxxes when my Wife and I sold our home over the summer and bought another.
