  1. Yeah that new one is cool but I cant justify the hammer cost for myself. I have numerous deadblow hammers already. I wonder if this is to try and regain some market share against all of the new cordless nailers that have been coming out. Ive always liked Estwing stuff. I used to have a Estwing steel handle hand axe a long time ago. That thing was the bomb for camping.
  2. Thats a cool idea man, good work. ive been thinking of doing some similar stuff for the wifeys pots.
  3. That'll do it. now that you tightened that up put a charger on it and make sure the battery isnt messed up.
  4. News to me as well. No idea who the OEM for those will be.
  5. put a fresh battery in it,they dont last forever. sounds like charging system issue or loose connections.
  6. You arent gonna hurt that thing, just stick it in a cardboard box. Honestly they dont do cases anymore because everyone gets rid of them.
  7. Right on man, thanks for that real world input, and welcome to the crew.
  8. That thing is a beast, one day I will own this.
  9. I agree Maxfit or the Makita golds are the good easy to find stuff. Dont snub out Wiha and Wera or Felo bits thou.
  10. your new Dewaltvideo is awesome man, keep up the good work sir.

  11. The machine has limit switches for the plotter blades? If I remember thats how the one we used in Air Force worked but that was long ago. We made all sorts of decals and such for aircraft and all sorts of things.
  12. Yeah but for many projects with Rolocs and scotch bright pads or flap wheels it doesnt take alot of pressure to get material off. I may as well just chuck them up in my Bosch 12v drill, would be the same just a bit bigger and stronger gearing. What they should do is take the newer gen bodies and put the proper motor in it for such things for sanding tasks and such.
  13. I cant recall having any headaches since prior to windohs xp. but prior to XP they all sucked donkey balls. Currently im running Windows 7 PRO 64 bit, never have had an issue for years now. Most PC issues are because people still after all these years are scared of computers and do something dumb like delete system files or some other sillyness. also because alot of people dont use antivirus and such and go to shady sites and wonder how that happens.
  14. Id put the StrongBox wording on my garage, lol. nice looking as always man.
  15. yeah I like them too. most of my accessories are Bosch as far as blades and masonry bits go.
  16. Wow,yall got me curious now. I guess ill be seeing where i can find some local auctions. nice score. I would have paid that just for the receiver. I used to have a bunch of extra home stereo stuff but my ex stole them and sold them for who knows what. I had some pretty badass cerwin vega 15" towers hooked up to a Pioneer system solely for music, and hand picked dcm speakers and sub hooked up to a denon for home theater. Currently i have Klipsch.
  17. Right on Brian, thanks man. That would be cool. I can solder pretty well if needed. Out of practice on surface mount and such but changing out a pot, capacitor and what not is pretty easy to do if i remember right. I studied electronics technology in college, been a while since then. Thats another reason i need to build a nice bench so I can keep my soldering station setup somewhere.
  18. They probably do really awesome in brick and such I bet. Hard to beat a rotary hammer in concrete. I love my Bosch roto hammer with the Bosch SDS+ bits.
  19. Farm, auto, equipment auctions around here. Those require time which id rather spend doing other things, plus id rather have new. I dont wanna buy others people junk because half the time they are far from completely working.
  20. Might work for a shallow depth in concrete. Not really best geometry for concrete thou. Plus impact not designed that way
  21. Yeah no Roloc usage from beginning makes it a little more meh to me. Luckily im a machinist and will be doing somekind of mod. Not surprising they are metric threads since these are EU only currently but the math conversion is so simple. There is 25.4 mm to an inch. 1mm = .03937 inches. I have a bunch of 2 or 3 inch long roloc shafts,I could just rethread one end and put some small wrench flats on it. Would be pretty simple to do. All they do at the factory is make a headless bolt basically. Grade 5 is very easy to machine. Hell chop the head off a 5mm bolt and you got the same thing basically.
  22. I like the style of the Bosch. I think its cool it has outlets and such.
