    Makita App

@SchenzhenSpecial Would the tool be tied to the phone or tied to the account? If it is tied to an account, you could essentially log into the app from any device and should be able to unlock your tool.
  3. @ChrisK I use speed 1 quite often
  4. yep I'm interested in seeing how a user can adjust the precision drive mode.
  5. @Cr8ondt you gonna upgrade to the better 888?
  6. I have heard the 16g or 15g DeWALT nailers are a good choice for general purpose battery nailers. I have heard mixed reviews on the framer some like it some don't. I would guess the rumored gen 3 framer will be a nice improvement.
  7. all I know is DeWALT is toying with the idea of making one but one is not necessarily going to come out.
  8. @Framer joe you planing on getting the flex track saw or flex mixer?
  9. that one British company that also makes the DeWALT wrenches? Can't remember the name of the company.
  10. correct and yes Caterpillar counts cause it is a tool brand if you ask me. your up
  11. that would be my favorite movie. I'm guessing the answer is the Germans, Japs, and Milwaukee will probably replace the battery?
  12. Name two tool brands that make a smartphone.
  13. flex miter or flex track saw (with Festool guide rails) would be my suggestions.
  14. I seen something about a different kind of sprayer. A battery powered DeWALT chemical sprayer like the type you use herbicides with.
  15. I did have a battery drop onto the garage floor. Ima guess this could've been the one that dropped. Can't say for sure. I have 3 I use for work which clearly show signs of use at work doing demo and whatnot. They got scratches and whatnot but I got 4 that I use in my garage and they clearly look almost new. They have little to no scratches or other noticable wear or dirtyness. The bad pack was one of the 4 nicer ones.
  16. @Framer joe one of my flex 2/6 batteries that I have hardly used was not charging even though it was low on charge. The charger may appear to charge for a short bit then the light on the charger would show as solid like the battery was fully charged which it clearly wasn't. I sent it in and DeWALT sent back a brand new battery.
  17. at least when I checked online those were what were available. If there was the older 12v I must've missed it.

    I have never tried wasabi
  19. 8v, 12v, 14.4v, 18v, 20v, 40v
  20. Looks like a nice unit but you gotta be careful. There are two versions. An entry level model for non flamable sprays and a max model which can spray flamables. Also has many nozzles available as well. I was considering looking into one for spraying poly.
  21. Lowes sells the 8v stuff if I remember correctly.
  22. It's kinda like the tool connect adapter but its function is different and it has a screen. It is a Hilti product. Part of their connected products. I think it has something to do with determining anchors and fasteners.
  23. well apparently the flexvolt tracksaw dont need no tearout guard. Appears to be anything noticable on the goodside in the spot of the guide rail my router cut into.
