  1. They frame houses in aus.? Tools? I thought they only used knifes....lol, just kidding.....Australia has some of the greatest architectural marvels on earth...very cool buildings ,houses,....I'm big on architecture, I do frame custom homes... . Hope you guys get all the cordless tools you need ! Dewalt of course....
  2. Comes with 5ah in the kit...they're not gonna give that away.....Milwaukee has the deal 2/9ah and a fast charger 199...I wish Dewalt would do that one
  3. Ya,very practical tool,worth the wait....
  4. Lumber and trim stock, lvl stock, parralam stock,,,all stock is differently measured...there is only a standard for a type of material....one must know what they are buying,. Again it goes to Not dumbing down the world, but instead educate yourself.. @dwain.not you per say...but people... . is the same for welfare, stop giving handouts and force people to work ...there are plenty of jobs always, just people choose not to do them...help yourself, help your neighbor,family,church....but don't tax me to do it,,,,,people are inherently helpful and generous, .......the USA is a gracious, giving, country which helps everyone worldwide..the people will rally together in time of need ,crisis or war....just don't force us, we will do it anyway...... . as in don't dumb it down, don't standardize, education is the key
  5. Both of those Ryobi tools are good,,the better inflater is digital and box shaped...and the glue gun is great....it's a great fill in brand,,,and some of the tools hold up well, I've had the sander and router for years and years
  6. I would say @Jronman it slices the flex to shreds
  7. Nice set up....bad ass tools
  8. It's only bested by the new Dewalt fan...it's been number one for years...Ryobi makes good stuff, ...sometimes it makes the only tool available on the market...
  9. I have the rigid 1gal cordless comp...it's good, you do run out of air quicker ..it's well made ,if your only using it for a quick task , it does a good job......i also have the Dewalt 2.5 gal cordless compressor...it's night and day...much better pressure, quick recovery,..bigger tank...it will run a trim gun all day...I use it for Trim and hangers.... . very well made, roll cage, a 9ah will run all day......
  10. More POWA ! Beast mode! Sweet ! Great pics ..and vid ,thanks..
  11. Don't know that one....sorry but amazon does full orders I place for tools across the pond..
  12. did you you overfill...? Id just bring it back.....I've used mine all weekend and no problems...friggin love it !
  13. I follow the logic , but in practical terms , two batteries from two different companies both having 162wh of energy ..Do not produce the same amount of cuts, Do not rip the same linear ft of stock....the whole engineer degree thing is great, excellent accomplishment..i am proud of you, I don't have one,but I correct the engineers that set plans for the houses I frame, school of hard knocks, masters degree.....that's all I know battery A 162wh ...battery B 172wh ...Do Not Cut Or Rip the same amount of lumber, not even close
  14. I love information.....very technical stuff .....what I do know For FACT ..IS..the Flexvolt Circ saw cuts more lumber of any dimension and rips more lumber then any other circ saw or rear handle saw on the market in any country....and the soon to be released Flexvolt rear handle will perform even better then that......I don't know why, that's not my world, but using these tools everyday 10hr a day is my world..well actually I just read plans, argue with architects.meet with engineers for redesign and run the crews...but I do use them every weekend building decks.... . I think the 60v design so far is unmatched and can only get better, although the rear Makita is closer ,the FUEL circ isn't close.....and the new rear 60v will be ..as they say "game changer" ...
  15. While I don't have the technical knowledge of @Stercorarius I can say I'm a Dewalt guy ,yes, but I use both brands at work. Also Milwaukee....In real world use ,the flex circ will outperform the rear handle Makita or FUEL......I only care about actual daily abuse/use of tools...I see the Makita batteries draining much much faster then Dewalt on a comparable tool, ....I see my Dewalt cordless tools working hard and lasting years... . ...I'm there to make money, not baby a tool...sometimes these test people do show one tool .seconds better, that's not any advantage......an efficient, powerful brushless motor in a durable frame is all I ask...I want the framing done as fast as possible......in my opinion the Flexvolt line of tools is ..Unmatched ...I think it's bad ass when a 60v tool at 3ah does more cuts then a 18v tool at 9ah....and much easier and faster......it's not Hype...cutting stair stringers rafters and ripping lvl stock is extremely difficult for an 18v tool...they never show those cuts on you tube just a dry lumber, cross cut.... . ...I will say the rear handle Makita is close, of course it won't be close at all to the rear handle 60v flex.................and the new Milwaukee 18v impact wrench is in a class it's own....1000ft pounds on,1400 ft pounds off...insane !!
  16. There is a way to "jump " it ..to bring it back...it's on you tube...but I don't recommend it...listen to the guys above, just swap it out for free....shit happens, they make a lot of packs, always a bad apple somewhere or like said , the battery drained to low..Dewalt will hook you up...
  17. Again, protool reviews said the same thing when the Makita rear came out. But real world tests all over you tube show the Flexvolt as more powerful and more cuts....the guy using the saw is the subjective part...of course pro tool reviews has two guys. Neither of which are contractors or framers, but instead two review hacks paid by manufacturers to review tools......... . ... (.6) loss by the Flexvolt ,really? ..both were tie in all tests...again Makita hit a homerun with the ..rearhandle saw...great saw and I'll say it again ,,one of the most innovative companies, can't go wrong with them.... . ...also love how these reviewers have test before Dewalt releases their new tools, happens every time..........I use Makita tools everyday at work framing along with Dewalt..................one note: Dewalt designs their tools to be used with their accessories. Not a random blade chosen...it Does make a huge difference in speed and cuts, just as when you use a certain bit on an sds hammer ,,,completely different result.....no other manufacturer does this...Dewalt is a system ,not just a tool,. .....have a great day ! Love your Makita passion, !
  18. Efficiency in this case is on Dewalts side,,,first I am a fan ,heavily invested , but have all brands...I'm dropping a "g" on Bosch 12v line up, my friend has them and Damn they're small and powerful and unbelievabe quality(the new 12v planer and router sold me on them) and the Makita rear handle is Not as powerful as the reg ...flex circ saw,. Check out you tube,,,,also runtime is great but if the tool won't do the task at hand who cares how long it runs.......check out Dewalts ads,,,you will see the same claim your spouting from Milwaukee. But proven wrong, the flex 9/3ah on the 60/54 v tool ,out cuts all competitors...a powerful efficient motor takes less ,energy, to make the same cut as a inferior motor burning up the "gas" to make the same cut... . ....I run two crews, one uses Makita everything, corded and cordless if Makita makes it ,they have it,. We use all Dewalt, I see it everyday,. ,,had the same debate with Bremon...Makita came in third ..in many tests......it's a great brand, great tools, I think the batteries suck, but do charge fast.......I'm not bashing Makita, it's great if your in, you can't go wrong with that company... . ...I like the direction Dewalt is taking as far as power, wish they had more 60v/120v tools,,but I'm sure they'll come...I love all Dewalt batteries, they last forever and take a beating, even the "XRP" are great..... . .....Makita makes all other companies bring their "A" game , they are very innovative...and First on many tools...I liking them to Dodge...dodge changed the truck world with their new hood and high wheel wells...,the minivan...muscle cars...a very innovative company, but not the best of the big three......I'd say your a ...fanboy of Makita ?
  19. Acme tools ,my go to company for deals and tools out first....I think they still have the kit listed for 199 plus 10% off that....I usually go bare tool but it was a good deal for a 5ah too...the charger I just sell.......oh ..and no I never ..preorder anymore.ever... . works great, excellent run time on a 5ah so you can imagine a 9ah ..it's just so perfect for what I want ..cuts fast and smooth..
  20. @kornomaniac love your passion for tools but ,. Makita x2 doesn't beat anything Dewalt, as a matter of fact Dewalt just put Makita back to the drawing board with their new rear handle saw.....even the flex circ saw had Makita x2 rear handle beat or tied.....Makita is a great company, very innovative. Hundreds of tools, ..but only one thing bad about them....they're not ...Dewalt!!!! .
  21. Milwaukee 12v Makita 12v Bosch 12v ( just switched) ....sounds like Dewalt bashing when everyone including Bosch claim 12v,...I know what all the companies do , I get it ......you want everyone to claim actual voltage, I get it...I'm saying market it as long as it's the truth,. Which 20v max is the truth,. Point is where does it stop ? Milwaukee claims all kind of shit over a Dewalt tool and vise versa.. all companies claim this and that over other brands. It's ALL misleading.....I don't remember you posting something about Milwaukees claims when Flexvolt came out , Milwaukee comparing their 9ah against the flex 6ah a full page ad and video...complete bull... . I don't want to belabor this but I believe Dewalt has the most honest ads and comparisons.....watch nps17 ...the brands they compete against are in plain view for all to see, ,while Milwaukee paints every competitor grey, watch Milwaukee drop a CINDER block on Dewalts lowest line of tough system boxes..... . I'm with you, I wish life was different. People were honest. There was no welfare, Companies had our best interest at heart, I can say some companies do care....Trusty Cook dead blow hammers, made in the USA ..Wright tools made in the USA ,. ..there out there.......but I don't want a socialist country, everyone doesn't deserve a home, everything is not equal, some people Do work harder and deserve more.......I wish Bosch had all there tools here. That sucks..it's business ..I get it.....
  22. It's. Here. Finally !!!! Man I wanted a compact 20v chain saw from Dewalt.......
  23. I love your opinion didn't agree but respect it..... @dwain ..merely saying I don't like everything dumbed down to the lowest level , so mr idiot can figure it out.......and No 6hr reviewing a tool isn't earning a 600$ tool.....I do appreciate your channel, because I like all points of view, it's helps us make decisions based on many different reviews... ..also by "in line with the rest of the industry " again you mean Europe, because everyone here does the same thing.. ..5qt is 5qt...20v max is 20v max ..doesn't mean anything else,...keep up the reviews !
  24. Don't know about the crap inside blowing into your air tools, guns etc....hate to ruin a good tool for a cheap compressor
