  1. @dwain...it's not wanting hoping demanding expecting......it's Dewalt stating at launch that this new 60v platform will grow expeditiously...that new tools will follow quickly and expansively.......people bought into the platform expecting Dewalt to ...Keep Their Word ...year after year...1 new rear handle saw doesn't cut it.... .....I realize your tied in with Dewalt and other companies but if you owned a business and invested thousands upon thousands of dollars based on this promise, and your productivity was limited do to this BS ....perhaps even cutting jobs due to slower production, you may not be so nonchalant about it....... .....I get this is a fun forum sharing tool news and stories for the DIY guy but a lot of us run companies or are self employed and rely on these tools ....
  2. Ah,ya....do you ever install doors ? @Big Adam All door hinges are philips....about a million other items that come from non American countries use philips screws on there products that I must remove...before I use or install it.....no philips in the U.K. ?
  3. Hearing protection is one thing, while using a loud tool,.. headphones or earbuds to listen to music is not allowed.....you must be able to hear the supervisor or a warning sound at all times....also no phones are allowed on site but mine..you can use your phone at lunch and after work ,because there is no morning break...
  4. I know @Jronman...but I don't buy Everything Dewalt..(.I would if they had it)mostly everything but Dewalt doesn't make many of the cordless tools I need now and have used for years......I'm seriously looking at a hybrid Festool 5" orbital sander...looks real nice... @ChrisK would know more then me about it...........definitely don't buy everything DeWalt, just because they make it, but I will buy a tool that looks cool and never use it...
  5. That was last year at the 60v launch ...the stackable 360 degree ,tool connect light....7000 lumens...this tower light is new and looks nice ,but I think it's only battery not ac also..........Milwaukee just released another light ,folds to 22" and extends to 64" ,,two battery...I like that small profile to fit in the truck easier.....maybe Dewalt will continue with more lighting options
  6. He explained it above....we bought cordless tools (bare) Dewalt is running promo deals ...get a free 6ah/20v with purchase....the store didn't have the free battery so they offered a deal on 2 pack
  7. Great deal $50 for a 2 pack of 20v 6ah......I'll have to try that
  8. The was more then 1 new light @FrosBros82 ?
  9. The shockwave case is nice , easy to remove..good bits...Dewalts flex torque are very nice...I got used to the inserts,,, I change the inside around from stock to fit my selection....that feature is nice,,,..Bosch has a nice set up ...i use differently companies (colored) for different bits just to make it easier to grab the right one.....I really only use T15.,T20,,T25,,P2.,Sq2,,Sq1,,..
  10. Never heard of caulking to fill nail holes...for azek (plastic trim) painters use bond and fill ...doesn't shrink...and for pine they use glazing compound
  11. Can't help ya,,, we don't use them, sorry
  12. Nothing wrong with It ......Bought it online at lowes $139... promo price, no one had it....but....acme ow has it online ( not in stock till next wed) but the Dewalt promo gives you a free battery ...20v 6ah XR free .....sometimes rushing doesn't pay off, but I'll make do for a week for a free battery.....
  13. Well said @Hugh Jass....I will add....We didn't assume Dewalt would make more 60v/ 120v tools ..they said ..."an entire platform of tools will follow.,this is just the beginning" ..it's not whining..It's BUISNESS..this isn't my Hobby...It's my Buisness..how I create wealth,jobs,........side note..the reason the USA is the greatest country on earth is Because we don't settle for less, we demand More..... .....it's like when an architect firm with their ivy school education, tells little ol me, joe framer , that the plan isn't wrong it must be me,,..until you walk down the stairs and hit your head on a steel beam running through," that must be right it's on the plan " ....pencil pushers , sometimes don't see the big picture, I wonder if Dewalt does...
  14. Wait a minute @Jronman...." don't listen to noisy power tools" hey now.....THATS THE BEST MUSIC....!!!!!! !!!!!!! !!!!!! MORE POWA !!!! .............lol
  15. If we are not being , too, simplistic about it,then the DCR is a better overall ,Job Site ,entertainment apparatus. The fact that it , has ac outlets, 1000x better phone storage, 1000000x power cord...can charge flex volt batteries, usable, programmable and is clearer ,but not as much thump........we use the DCR for work...I use the TS at home to crank it up.....Staind, Disturbed, System of the down, Linkin Park.....oh yaaaa!
  16. Not as good as Red jimbo ...but it's a start..
  17. I'm fine with 60v and 120v tools ,,it was needed to get true corded power....BUT...if your going to have us buy new batteries and tools for that platform...you MUST continue to pump out that platforms..tools every year ,relentlessly........Dewalt pulled some bullishlt again....,,.thats F...up....
  18. I have both,,it's simple.....if you want the best thump and stackable, get the TS....everything else you could want is in the 025
  19. They have a system for walls I believe,,garage storage...the van and trailer system was missing...
  20. This new mid torque looks nice.....
  21. It's normal...and you can not beat that combo ....I have many of each and use the hell out of both...best combo available in my opinion...
  22. What's ridiculous is that Dewalt pisses off the very people that spend large dollars on their tools...the marketing dept are complete morons. I realize they make billions but they loose millions when tools are needed and you have to buy it on another platform........like my older brother . The IQ of a genius, the common sense of a rock...
  23. I too waited for Dewalt to make a simple fan.....until Friday they didn't have one,,,now they do and it's the most powerful....but I already bought into rigid also to get the tools Dewalt didn't make....that rigid fan is powerful very quiet and great runtime...
  24. Milwaukee didn't even respond to this show,,, that's when you know it's not very good.....
