  1. There are YT vids of a mitre saw, table saw, grinders,welders....I think 4 flex 2/6ah is a good combo but 4 flex 3/9ah is better......I believe it's a 20v tool so it's 9ah if the big battery is used ??
  2. Man that's deep..talk about taking care of your tools? I'm impressed with your mechanical abilities. Is that 40v still better then the new 60v version?
  3. Ya, I've had a bad Dewalt tool just never used a repair center..whoever I got it from just sent a label and sent a new one back, quick.....Dewalt always stood behind their tools for me even 3/4 years later.....maybe because I buy a lot of tools, don't know... ........I have many 887 and they see hard work driving lags, timberlocks, big screws, every weekend...15/20 hrs x50 weeks a year ..1000's of hours on them and no problems...that's why I love Dewalt tools,,they take real world abuse, like @Cr8ondt dropping them from high up.....great company, great tools!!!
  4. I bought mine, ill know mon or tues I'm told...can't wait to use it. 60v ,bigger tank, yup yup yup...now where's the 20v chainsaw, grinder, fan, ???????
  5. I've never used a repair center..so can't help you there, but I've never had any problem returning any Dewalt tool from Acme tools, Amazon, o Home Depot even without a receipt...wish you well
  6. Tailgating, camping, back up generator, (as said above) it is very inventive....power wherever needed....Dewalt is a badass company
  7. Oh, I thought it was Monday 7th....guess I gotta be tortured longer ....I really can't wait...
  8. Yes the Dewalt runs on 60v ...the large 3/9ah flex battery should run it all day...............uses...many......where we work building new custom homes ..no power..generators running all day and gas compressors.......this compressor will be great for carpenters punch list, ...finish guys that love there very small lightweight air guns but have no power or don't want to run a bigger gas compressor....we love it for our deck company....tons of hardware on decks...the dcn693 hanger gun is huge, heavy and can't fit in 12" oc spaces...so this compressor will work great using a small lightweight "strap shot" hanger gun for all that hardware...again no power on site..........anyone that already owns pneumatic guns and doesn't want a new huge investment in battery nailers will LOVE this compressor.....
  9. Sorry to hear that...check the warranty? I've had mine since they came out (3yrs?) serious use in construction and decks, all weather ...no problems.....did you push the tool to hard ?
  10. I would say that rear handle is 60v to claim best in class as @Bremonsaid earlier
  11. We have two at work...great for an overnight charger ,,,way way way too long for a jobsite charger ,takes 3 about 3 hrs to charge 4 flex 3/6 ah ...but as a power station it works great...runtime depends on what batteries are on it and what your powering up.....there are good videos on YT for runtime actual use.......personally I'm waiting for gen 2...hopefully faster charging ,maybe USB ports, smaller, lighter, maybe a top cover for the elements...??
  12. The impact will make a hole...we have used it to drill out 1 1/4 holes in pt wood for sills on the foundation, for extended use it does beat up your impact....the 791 will do the job ,but again for extended use or daily use it will beat up your drill....the 996 or similar is a much better option for daily use of larger holes,,those drills can handle abuse......
  13. Maybe it will work. But that auger looks cheesy.......can't wait for the event
  14. Dcc2560t1 cordless compressor......I really can't wait for the event

    New battery?

I'd buy a bunch of slim 5ah...if they were the same size as the slim 3ah ...that would be perfect for cordless finish guns..drills, compact impact..

    New battery?

So, if the 3ah, 4ah, 5ah are all the same size in large form...can Dewalt make a 4ah and 5ah the same size as the new dcb230 ..3ah ?
  19. A powerful flex vacuum would be great..
  20. @framer...the info on the Dewalt is on acme tool or toolguyd...the info on the rigid is on any product page...The number shot is for brad nails.....a framing gun would shoot probably 10/20 nails before kicking the compressor on...trim gun 16 or 15g ..20/30 nails...a hanger gun about 2 hangers, then kick on...........the whole filling tires thing is better off with other tools...I have a Dewalt compressor/ jumper cables unit...small and does a great job for both....Ryobi makes great tire inflators. This compressor works well for punch list, interior trim, small jobs...I have all the cordless nailers, I use the 16g to tack Trim up then nail with a coiler (exterior trim) ..I don't like the size and weight of the cordless nailers ,when I do finish work I would set this compressor in the room or just outside the room and use all my much smaller and lighter finish guns with a small hose......no jobsite power on almost all our jobs.....so anytime I can go cordless great.....plus my deck company will use this no problem it will be perfect...
  21. I tried that set up...the base is tin like ...really not made for that,,,it really doesn't work at all....completely different then say my cordless Ridgid trim router.....trust me I wish it did...
  22. For real @Jronman those are coming ? Btw nice new symbol
  23. I'm happy it has a hook ....
  24. @torontotoolman...trusses ? No exterior trim ? No doors ? No windows ? No interior walls ? ....
