  1. Hey now ,I'm a conservative....lol,,.damn democrats want all my money.....could use a cold one ,later though, ?
  2. Lot of ho hum,I read.....why now ? Not before the release or included in the original warnings? No one thinks something happened and someone got hurt ? No one thinks there could a gag order or non disclosure agreement.........I think on toolguyd, it said don't use it in the rain, really? Because no construction workers work in the rain....just a little odd is all..
  3. Thanks bro,,,,,ya we attach 2x? Pt stock to the top/sides of steel beams and shoot them on with "black" shot from Hilti can't even use the " red " shot which is for concrete ....but the vid did say it can shoot thro 2x pt stock to shoot a "plate" to the cement floor....but I didn't think it could into 1/2" steel without a .22 cal blank that Hilti uses.......thank you
  4. Ya just saw a vid on the 18g rapid firing,,,looks good ,just wish it was smaller but I get why ......didn't know you could buy it yet..
  5. Oh,,no shit ! @Hugh Jass, @Bremon that video above just said concrete nailer...and I assume when you say pins you mean nails, with a head on them ?.....if so then one could nail a pierce of pressure treated lumber(2x8) to a 1/2" steel beam ?
  6. Hope that fan is at least as powerful as the Ridgid fan..maybe more POWA?...if it's half as much like the Milwaukee that will .."blow" .. that concrete nailer is a nice tool, but I'll have to stick with Hilti because I need to nail to steel also...too bad..
  7. Worth buying at the HD price for sure....nice find
  8. I can't help you there...I do have all he 20v ope stuff...just home use
  9. Yo @The.Handyman if you have a ticket and don't use it I'll be happy to buy it off you ...:)
  10. Thanks ..HJ...hopefully soon
  11. Agree...we use it at work for a cut off tool also...foundation bolts placed wrong, Remo work....misc nails,screws,,..steel beam sent too long (although some oil and a good blade on a Milwaukee sawzall works fine)...this one looks much beefier....
  12. @Hugh Jass...hey does Dewalt have that hepa attachment yet...D25304DH ?? Gonna pull the trigger on that one
  13. Wish Dewalt made this ( I know they have a slide top adapter, USB ) love these m12 style batteries for many uses
  14. Always nice to be recognized......very nice write up on the pros and cons of the tools
  15. @Renner_construction....I've used fein 400-500$ ,not bosch ,ya nice tools And ya love Dewalts and love it's in my platform....it does everything we need...if I was a floor installer maybe go with a different brand...of course at 400-500 fein should be good......a test at pro tool reviews shows Makita as number 1.......use pro tools ? Cmon.,..
  16. Ya I bought into Ridgid couple weeks ago...all cordless...trim router, orbital sander, compressor, belt sander, ...I retired my Ryobi cordless and replaced them with Ridgid....stuff Dewalt doesn't make.,cordless.....have to say I love the cordless Ridgid tools I bought....
  17. @jrs5565...you need some 9ah....demo is tough on batteries. , even 9ah may not be enough...charging at work isn't an option sometimes, especially if your using a generator......sharp blades and 9ah may help.....we carry a boat load of batteries also...
  18. Don't know ...but completely different results with a flex 6 vs a XR 6 on a framer......plus more "grunt" would mean an upgrade to the 20v max 7 1/4" circ...I know not a lefty so maybe wait for the "show" coming up ..you can get more runtime for that 6 1/2" circ but don't think any more "grunt" ...
  19. I've had a couple of them, since it came out....freaking love that tool. No problems,no issues...or with the battery that was on it....I may use it for an hour or two at a time ,so I don't know if extended use may cause a problem.....if under warranty I'd get a new one.....
  20. Hmmm....the XR 6.0 is longer then the flex 6.0....they are both the same width....the flex 6.0 is taller....the flex 6.0 is heavier then the XR ..some but not much difference in runtime or power on a 20v circ saw, with a XR6.0 over a 5.0.....but the flex 9.0 on a 20v circ saw is great, both in runtime and power. but if your just doing a few cuts ,just use a 5ah....the 5ah is the perfect battery for most applications,in my opinion...the flex 6.0 works better on framing nailers (692,693) larger cells ? Don't know why but definitely a difference........cost is relative to your effort any battery can be bought at the right time for a great deal..you can get 2/5ah on eBay for 60$.......
  21. No shit @Jronman ..I'd love to use a 2ah for a couple weeks....I have mad batteries just for my company never mind the companies I run........yuppies buy high end homes just out of the city and the wealthy tear down homes to put up mansions...that's where they work is, at least for us......hope work picks up for you,..you sound like a good guy..
  22. The 693 hanger gun ,,,works well,I've had two since they came out..last summer ?,,, a little bulky and heavy for hangers but does the job for the most part
  23. To all the great fathers, future fathers and future tool users !!!
