  1. You can't fit a toolbox in an f450 ? Really .? Something wrong there @Fletcher94
  2. Ya....can't wait . Not many sneak peaks compared to last year before the event. ...Dewalt must have tightened the reigns a little.....I'm thinking there is a big announcement again this year.....not just new tools
  3. Ya I see the Dewalts levers forward ,not like a plunge cut....the whole idea is weird to me ,we use a short track for cutting framing but it is not even close for speed but superior in cut quality
  4. No sneak peaks of the new 10" Dewalt chop saw ????
  5. I'm liking the Festool track saw my boss bought ,just very weird using it because I've never used one in thirty plus years.....they do cut nice
  6. That's a nice jigsaw.....hope we get it (Dewalt) I can't get into another platform .....

    DCE400

Wait a minute ,wonder if it can expand 1/4" air hoses to except a new air fitting..? Usually we heat the hose up to get a fitting on....maybe I will buy it ??

    DCE400

Wish I had a use for it,because it looks badass..
  9. The 9 is bigger ...but worth every cent on the right tool....
  10. They have direct comparisons with a Dewalt 9ah and a Milwaukee 9ah on the same tool ,newest models, same tool same battery......I don't see Dewalt misleading in their testing against anyone...unlike Milwaukee does. Not to say Dewalt doesn't embelllish or stretch the truth ,but the tests I see are equal comparisons.
  11. If you go to Dewalt web sites..you will see them compare the latest other brand tool and same size battery directly against their own...unlike Milwaukee last year comparing the flex 6ah against the Milwaukee 9ah.....obviously they had to...we see Dewalts 9ah is superior........I think Dewalt does fair test
  12. Expensive lesson @khariV.. of course be leery of the bright shiny truck with gold lettering also.....those trucks usually are all show and no experience in them....a work truck that actually works daily gets banged up a little bit, and usually the guys are quality people, from my experience.
  13. Can't wait to see a real video of these pack out boxes taking real jobsite abuse......on the other note.......if a contractor or his employees are throwing tools around, you hired the wrong contractor . Attention to detail and quality starts the the tools you use to perform said tasks. ....if guys don't care about the tools they use , I would certainly guarantee they don't care about the job they are hired to do...
  14. I like the 7 1/4 mitre from Dewalt it's a nice saw..ya I wish it was dbl bevel ,but still nice.....I am waiting for a 10" version only because my 7 1/4 cordless won't cut azek rails which I use every weekend...and the 12" cordless is big...
  15. I'll buy two Cordless ones and a 5" random orbit sander, sheet sander, trim router, compressor, fan...just make em..
  16. Thank you for the link @Mattias Blomqvist. Very cool...I see a barrel grip corded jigsaw so a cordless could happen...what is a 576 circ saw ? Some very cool stuff. I like the drill bits and case. I saw a cement gun ,I think but doesn't look the one in the video around here........should be a good show in august...just release the tools already...
  17. Red cedar ...can't go wrong...roof and sidewall
  18. Dewalt finding its way in Milwaukee territory (plumping,mechanical)...Milwaukee finding its way in Dewalts playground (carpentry) ......gotta love the effort, from both...it's all good for us
  19. Oh, @Bremon ..ya I agree with that. ..True True...I also had to reset the depth lever ,because if you tighten it down the lever would hit the base before the shoe was actually tight,,pick up the saw the base would fall down....but that's np...real happy with its performance.....waiting for the rear handle (even though it's not my thing) just to try it out....
  20. Depth adjustment ? Your having problems with the knob ? Or you use the numbers on the adjustment arm to set depth and you can't see them ? ..We never use that feature . We set depth by placing the saw on the material being cut lower blade and tighten,,,test cut and adjust if necessary......stock never comes what width it's suppose to...half in ply is not really a half in..and so on......
  21. Any info if the rear handle flex is much more powerful then the flex circ ?
  22. I like the dial for degrees up front and so compact....I don't about if it's powerful or if that rail set is sturdy but I like the set up on that Makita.........the eu Dewalt 10" a saw a vid on and it's very interesting...
  23. Can't go wrong with it.....I didn't have Ridgid tools either....but my Ryobi (blue) cordless trim router and sander , finally died ,so it was stay in Ryobi with the new "green" tools or go to Ridgid...I bought into Ridgid...cordless trim router ,sander, compressor, soon heater....gotta say nice tools....Dewalt just won't make these tools...did finally make a fan...
  24. Makita 10" cordless, brushless double bevel..mitre saw with Bluetooth,,auto vacuum when trigger is pulled....XSL06 ....sorry don't know how to get a screen pic.......Cmon Dewalt
