regopit
I have done a lot of unsafe things when using tools. Now that I getting older I think safety a lot more http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7sRrC2Jpp4&list=WLB968C09AB3F2DB20&feature=player_embedded[/video]
Joe M
We get customers who want us to cut like 3/8 of inch off a board, and they look at you like you have a third eye when you say that you have a minimum of a 3 in. cut. I gladly direct them to a cheap hand planner.
DR99
The guys reaction is the crazy part he did the kickback on purpose and he still is in shock from what happened.
Conductor562
I've never been one to follow all safety procedures, but now that I have the kids watching I try to do a better job.
Eric - TIA
I grew up around and learned from people who never cared about safety. Unfortunately I have taking the same road. I try really hard to break that habit, but it's hard.

Conductor562
I grew up around and learned from people who never cared about safety. Unfortunately I have taking the same road. I try really hard to break that habit, but it's hard. Sounds exactly like my backstory. My dad's idea of safety was tightening his belt up a notch before he climbed under the truck. threeve
I learned the same bad habits about safety from watching my dad in the garage too. Then one day he cut off the end of his thumb on the table saw. No blade guard, no riving knife, no push sticks, etc. I'm gonna try damn hard not to make a mistake like that myself.
