Table saw Safety

I grew up around and learned from people who never cared about safety.  Unfortunately I have taking the same road.  I try really hard to break that habit, but it's hard.

 

Sounds exactly like my backstory. My dad's idea of safety was tightening his belt up a notch before he climbed under the truck.

I learned the same bad habits about safety from watching my dad in the garage too. Then one day he cut off the end of his thumb on the table saw. No blade guard, no riving knife, no push sticks, etc. I'm gonna try damn hard not to make a mistake like that myself.
