firefighter4187
So Does anyone have any planned purchases for 2014, anything you know you are going to buy?
NicholasShetley
New m18 fuel impact wrenches (compact and fullsize) and the drill. I will probably get more metric sockets. My hat should get me through the first few months of tech school but I don't know for sure what I will need there.
ChrisK
Festool T15+3 kit. Or.... The 150 Sander and the Vacystem.
DR99
I would try and get the Festool vac first I hear it makes wood working dustless for the most part.
Conductor562
I'm looking to expand my collection of Proto ratcheting combos and expand my ASD set out to 32mm. I'd also like to find a 3/8" long handle Big Dawg rat (J5250P) as it's the only rat I need to complete my Big Dawg set. They were discontinued in 2009 or 10 in favor of the current premium pear heads, so they're kinda hard to find and repair kits are almost impossible to get. DR99
The four things that come to mind is the new M18 radio, and multi-tool, and either an impact wrench or the m12 ratchets. I like my m12 mutliool but trying to find a hex key in the middle of a project is annoying why didn't Milwaukee include storage for they key on the tool is one of those wtf things in life. regopit
I really don't plan on buying any new tools this year. If I buy anything this year I would like to get DeWalts Hand Held Radar Scanner Kit if they can get it right.
Javier
I too would like the new m18 radio. I would also like a dewalt 20v angled 16 gauge nailer maybe a Milwaukee fuel m18 rotary hammer

I would also like a dewalt 20v angled 16 gauge nailer maybe a Milwaukee fuel m18 rotary hammerThat Nailer is tempting I like my paslode lithium but not having to deal with fuel would be huge plus. Plus the Dewalt has bump fire and is quieter won't have the butane smell either. That's a huge bonus if your in an occupied structure. threeve
Top of my list right now are a compact router, jig saw, and a couple of 12v cordless tools (drill and impact mainly). Looking at the Porter Cable 450, Bosch js470eb, and either Milwaukee m12 or Bosch 12v respectively.
Harold Wray
I also would like to get the new m18 radio. I like the m18 led light. I would love a festool t55r but there is no way I will ever get that. Mainly I'm just thankful for what I do have. What do you want to get Chase? Actually heard in the dewalt forums that soon they are coming out with new 20v max nailers. Different than the xr brushless framing nailer to replace the current xrp nailers.I'll probably have gray hairs by the time Milwaukee decides to make 18v nailers. I don't see why they won't since tti makes them for ridgid and ryobi

DR99
I wouldn't mind some ratcheting wrenches.I don't use mechanics hand tools that much.
silverado79
probably going to buy an bosch multi tool, a new impact driver, of course hand tools, and I know that it's not a tool but some new boots
NicholasShetley
They work great in tight spaces but the boxed end is much thicker so keep that in mind
firefighter4187
I need a full metric set of combos, maybe some ratcheting if i find a deal. Some ball peens, For power tools, fuel sawzall, maybe circ saw, and could really use that new fuel impact, I want to start buying into the 12v line also. Conductor562
I wouldn't want ratcheting combos as my primary set. The lip of the box end is thicker and can restrict access, especially on small engines. For traditional combos check out Blackhawk. Affordable, USA made, and they have the same ASD open end that my Proto wrenches do. They are finished in satin, but they are very good quality for they money. Watch eBay for a nice used set. Conductor562
I saw one on eBay awhile back, but they wanted like $100 for an 11 piece set. Not insanely high, but higher than I expected. The Williams era ratchets are damn near impossible to find.
NicholasShetley
Hey dr99 gear wrench has a 20 piece inch and metric ratcheting wrench set on sale for 99 from time to time.

Yeah, I like that Milwaukee has such a huge array of tools in the m12 line. My only hesitation on committing to m12 right now is that I've fondled them both at the stores and prefer the ergonomics of the Bosch tools. threeve
Nobody else has any hand tools on their list? I'm scouting out some woodworking tools: chisels, planes, etc, but I don't know enough about what I need or want yet to list them out :-D
