rfwjr Posted January 28, 2015 Report Posted January 28, 2015 I was talking to the Bosch rep today and I mentioned I was thinking about buying Colt compact router. He told me to wait they are coming out with the new model. He said they had made it lighter, but did not really go into all the changes. He also said we should see the 6 Ah battery coming but did not say when. I wish he could have supplied more info but I thought I would pass it on. 1

rfwjr Posted January 29, 2015 Author Report Posted January 29, 2015 Madman, you are sporting the Bosch logo. You have to represent.

madman_us Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 my biggest is the 4.0 from bosch - i dont wanna buy the 5.0 because i know the 6.0 is on its way so ill wait
ChrisK Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 I'm in the same boat Madman. With the UTB, I received a 4.0 with a regular charger. I want to grab another but I'm going to wait a bit and go with the 5.0. I'm thinking we won't see the 6.0 for quite a while.
madman_us Posted January 30, 2015 Report Posted January 30, 2015 i can wait my 3 batteries gonna be enough for the next few month.
ChrisK Posted January 31, 2015 Report Posted January 31, 2015 Maybe if you see him again you can feel out for an idea about the Bosch track saw coming here?
rfwjr Posted February 1, 2015 Author Report Posted February 1, 2015 Maybe if you see him again you can feel out for an idea about the Bosch track saw coming here?If I see him I will ask. Are you sure you have room for more tools and batteries with all the stuff you won in the UTB.
Conductor562 Posted February 1, 2015 Report Posted February 1, 2015 Great, after I just recently bought a compact Makita
ChrisK Posted February 1, 2015 Report Posted February 1, 2015 Geez.....that's like asking Trump if more money is bad. Fear not Conductor, that is a heck of router you've got!
paddyjones Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 6,0AH released a month ago here in Scandinavia. Same price as as 5,0 AH for a single one. About 130$ that is. Still waiting for the New rapid charger though, but it's said to bere in a few weeks:) The price for the charger only is 70$.
ChrisK Posted February 8, 2015 Report Posted February 8, 2015 Welcome to the forum paddyjones! Thanks for the update. Hopefully they will find their way to the U.S. soon too! 1

He also said we should see the 6 Ah battery coming but did not say when. I wish he could have supplied more info but I thought I would pass it on.That is great news. I want to add a Colt sized router. I really like the look of the DeWalt but I like the Bosch routers. Hopefully they will add some dust collection and led lights.
madman_us Posted February 23, 2015 Report Posted February 23, 2015 The colt is on sale like any other bosch routers at HD.com
