Poisonfangs85
I had a set that was given to us by the builder after we built our first home. I used one to open a paint can and bent it in half! You get what you pay for.
kruton
I used an old set of Stanley screwdrivers and one of the Phillips head was so twisted I thought it was a hand held drillbit. In its defense it had a hard life.Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
comp56
I won't lie I hardly use hand held screwdrivers and when I do it is not for anything more than a few seconds.....generally impact driver......

Chris
When I worked at Home Depot back 12 years ago the basic Husky screwdrivers were awful. Every time we tried to use one to fix something for a customer the handle would end up spinning.
Justin Hernandez
I've used some husky screwdrivers in the past with no problems, funny how it happens to an employee
Chris
I've used some husky screwdrivers in the past with no problems, funny how it happens to an employee One time it was right before a hurricane was rolling in and we were assembling generators for people left and right. We were even driving to homes of older residents making sure that they were set up correctly. Home Depot probably doesn't even do that anymore. Justin Hernandez
Nope to much liability nowadays
DR99
Omg, I'm surprised they even did it back then. Anything electrical is a huge liability people love to cheap out on cheap extension cords to other possible problems. Something that wasn't the stores fault could get them sued. Nalu Rash
Ive come across a few bad ones...I usually end up turning them into ice picks or awls
Conductor562
The Husky drivers these days are the same Western Forge and Pratt-Reed styles that Craftsman offers. They aren't flashy or overly comfortable, but they get the job done
WeldfabNeil
cheap screwdrivers drive me insane, especially dollar store or harbor freight ones. I was given a set of proto duratek screwdrivers an absolutely love them. I prefer them over my friends snappy drivers. I really want to get the matching set of nut drivers as well. Conductor562
The Duratek / MacGrip drivers are the nicest available IMO. They're the perfect blend of comfort, durability, and ascetics

Of everything they have came in contact no corrosion or rust problems. No problem with shanks spinning in handle either. Also there made in USA.
