topnote Posted August 10, 2015 Report Posted August 10, 2015 Impact wrench, power wrench can not be adjusted torque, how to prevent the screw is broken? ~[attachment=4169:12036194_1339910609180_0_1024x1024.jpg
Andrius Posted August 10, 2015 Report Posted August 10, 2015 You can use impact wrench with adjustable speed and impact power. Or screw it with your hand. Makita and Hitachi have cordless impact drills with adjustable speed option.
Renner_construction Posted August 11, 2015 Report Posted August 11, 2015 Damn Lumu! Too much power!!!
PeteW Posted August 11, 2015 Report Posted August 11, 2015 that must have been a lot of power to do that to the screw. damn....
DR99 Posted August 11, 2015 Report Posted August 11, 2015 Always hand start your bolts to make sure the threads are not crossed. They also sell torque bars that tire change places use to limit torque. http://www.harborfreight.com/10-piece-12-in-torque-limiting-extension-bar-set-69870.html 1
topnote Posted August 12, 2015 Author Report Posted August 12, 2015 Did the LUMU break the screw?Yes,the power is brushless motor.
topnote Posted August 12, 2015 Author Report Posted August 12, 2015 that must have been a lot of power to do that to the screw. damn....I can't completely control it.
ChrisK Posted August 12, 2015 Report Posted August 12, 2015 Yeah, I would probably use a torque drive when working with bolts like that. Adjustable power impact wrenches are a great tool but when you are cranking out a ton of power it can over drive and unlike metal it'll break. I see you got your impact working again?
Conductor562 Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 Fucking LUMU bastards! I already hate these people, but the entertainment factor is just to good! 2
onetools Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 Fucking LUMU bastards!I already hate these people, but the entertainment factor is just to good! Though this is a new brand, still growing. We will try to make the market acceptance of the brand.
ChrisK Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 @LUMU, where are these made? Maybe you could send one to TiA for a review?
onetools Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 @LUMU, where are these made? Maybe you could send one to TiA for a review?Made in China. If you need to do,we will be happy.
ChrisK Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 I don't think that is a bad idea. I would contact Eric or Dan at TiA and see if they could try one out. It would be interesting to see how the tool works out in a video put on by the guys. This is an unknown brand and if your trying to enter an American market it might be worth putting the tool out to professionals like those guys for consumer review. 2
