sleephero Posted December 17, 2015 Report Posted December 17, 2015 Looks like this is the thread for introductions...I'm from the DFW area and I work with fire alarm systems. I've been lurking for while now, watching the videos and peeking at the threads. Any other fire alarm guys here? Quote

sleephero Posted December 18, 2015 Author Report Posted December 18, 2015 Welcome Tex! I have worked with a lot of fire alarm guys. You guys are all hybrids, half electrician half computer wiz. What's in your tool bag?Mostly Dewalt and Klien, same tools as most electricians. Add some alarm testing tools. You? Quote
Poisonfangs85 Posted December 19, 2015 Report Posted December 19, 2015 Mostly Dewalt and Klien, same tools as most electricians. Add some alarm testing tools. You?I have tools from all brands, but bottom line I am a Milwaukee guy. My old man is a sparky and raised me in the ways of the red side. Quote
sleephero Posted December 19, 2015 Author Report Posted December 19, 2015 I have tools from all brands, but bottom line I am a Milwaukee guy. My old man is a sparky and raised me in the ways of the red side. The new hand tools Milwaukee has been putting out are pretty rad. I've got multiple pairs of the strippers, pliers, insulated screw drivers, and the big industrial scissors. Every bit as good as the Kline stuff and half the cost.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
sleephero Posted December 19, 2015 Author Report Posted December 19, 2015 I'm a Dewalt guy as its the system I always have had, but Milwaukee are solid tools. I've picked up some drills and an angle grinder along the way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
