RickyMcGrath
What's a rough dimension? I see your feet in the pic and it looks like it may be a good sized little chunk of concrete. Is it a pier?
RickyMcGrath
It may have had an old school satellite dish mounted to it. The big 6' ones people had in their yards.

Fazzman
Its a good 24 inches in diameter. How tough do you guys think it would be to bust it up? I have a Bosch sds and a chisel for it. Never tried breaking concrete with it yet. I mostly use it for bolting shelves and such to the floor. Millerzconstruction
No problem. And if they didn't use any gravel. It'll be like cutting butter. Sent from my LGAS995 using Tapatalk
Millerzconstruction
Some people pay for those mill stones. To put in there yard. It wouldn't be a hard sell. If you can get it out without damaging it. But a lot of the big collectors would buy it broken too though. To persuade the concrete some times. [emoji6] Sent from my LGAS995 using Tapatalk

Then use the chisel. Sent from my LGAS995 using Tapatalk
DR99
It might suck it the cement is deep in the ground. If it s just a little slab is should go pretty quick.
Millerzconstruction
That cement is so old though it should just break right up. Good luck. Sent from my LGAS995 using Tapatalk

EEtwidget
Cement gets harder as it ages. Did you try to dig it up first?I would guess there was an unlicensed shed or deck the PO removed?
Millerzconstruction
Not old cement. Have u never removed old cement with steal in it have you? If the rebar is exposed it caueses the rain to get in and breaks down the concrete. There is a word for it. Millerzconstruction
With concrete it never stops cureing. And if it sits outside exposed and you dont ever put concrete sealer on it it will become brittle. Just like brick does after years in the environment.
