AVS Jrod Posted February 28, 2016 Report Posted February 28, 2016 Hey wrench-heads! Dude, as soon as I caught TIA on YouTube I knew these guys were like-minded and rocked. My name is Jared. I am 35 yrs old and was born with a Nintendo controller in one hand and a GameBoy in the other. I have been a tech-head and a farm boy from Day 1. In the last 20 years I have been a cable lineman, Geek Squad Home Theater installer and ISF certified calibrator, PC network agent, and custom tattoo shop manager. In between all that I have also fronted metal bands and done stand up comedy for Big Vin Records (Vinnie Paul of Pantera) in Las Vegas up until 2010. Since then, I have focused on the AV, Networking, and Security industry as a custom, high-end installer. I love the clients I work for and the gear that I get to play with every day. The tools I use are the icing on the cake. What brought me to TIA is the fact that these guys are like-minded. I would like to take my skills now and move into the woodworking and cabinetry aspect now....so here I am. On top of that, my fiancé and I bought a house a year ago and there is a lot of stuff I would love to do....but need the guidance. Aside from Daddy-duties to 4 yr old and 5 yr old daughters that consist of make-up tutorials and Disney, I love my career and my passions: family, music, work, and politics. I support: Vanessa, Phoenix, Hayden, & Harper,, bands Shadows Fall, Anthrax, Mastodon, Five Finger Death Punch, Mudvayne, HellYeah, In Flames, Soilwork, Ghost BC, Guns 'n Roses, Metallica, Megadeth, Trivium, Speedfinger. And my tools: DeWalt, Kobalt, Bosch, Husky, Ridgid, Milwaukee, Rockwell, Element, Platinum Tools, Skyline Cable, Skywalker AV, Lowes, Home Depot. Keep it up fellas! 2 Quote

If you have a question rest assured you will get a lot of useful info. I am in the mechanic field so can't help a lot with your woodworking questions, but there are a lot of guys here that can. Quote
