KnarlyCarl Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 Nice video man! I loved making pocket holes for my kitchen cabinets, no better way to do it for quick solid assembly. I think I used the kreg jig where it stood up at 90degrees to your work bench, but it's my friends so I don't have an actual model number and it's been too long to remember exactly. ... comp56 Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 great video, probably the best product that started as a 4:00AM infomercial item..... also coupled with one of these clamps is also nice to have 2 Quote
kruton Posted March 22, 2016 Report Posted March 22, 2016 Nice video Jimbo. I'm a Kreg fan, I have the Micro and K4. I don't know if would know how to fasten wood anymore without a pocket screw! I honestly probably over use them, but they sure are fun to make! Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk 1 Quote

DaveJr. Posted March 23, 2016 Report Posted March 23, 2016 Nice video! I have the K4 jig and love. Pocket screws come in so handy! Quote
Mondo1310 Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 Nice video Jimbo. Gonna add this to my list with the auto max clamp. 2 Quote
BMack37 Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 I love the Kreg system, I might have to pick up the kit and clamp that was in Jimbo's video. The bit collar measurement thing in the case is awesome, much nicer than using a tape measure. 1 Quote
tugnut1 Posted March 24, 2016 Report Posted March 24, 2016 I had the K4 system and now I have the K5 and the Porter Cable pocket hole jig. I like all three of the systems, but my go to right now is the Porter Cable model. 2 Quote
JimboS1ice Posted March 24, 2016 Author Report Posted March 24, 2016 Yea i hear the porter cable is superior to kreg, i was looking at it, so my question is do you still use kreg screws? Quote

Good question Jimbo. Dan and Eric have one at the compound but haven't gotten to it yet. John Miller also have one too. Quote
MikeInCtown Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 Great video. I got the K3 or K4 master kit and I think the one you have looks way easier to use than what I have and I think you said it was like 1/3 the cost Quote

DaveJr. Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 If you decide to use an impact when drilling pocket holes, always check the set screw on the drill bit stop to make sure it doesn't work itself loose. I learned that one the hard way. 3 Quote

Next I think I want the 90 degree Kreg clamp. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk 1 Quote

DaveJr. Posted April 9, 2016 Report Posted April 9, 2016 I actually broke the original bit that came with my K4 jig. I emailed Kreg and by the end of the week i had 3 bits in my mailbox. Excellent customer service! 2 Quote
