  1. To answer both your questions and fuel the desire to pi$s and moan about it. Nope. Why help the consumer out when you can make them buy multiple tool lines and multiple batteries and spend more money? I have a Dewalt brushless hammer drill and the B&D Autosense drill. Both are parent companies, bot have 20v batteries. Neither work together.
  2. Working like a madman! But...,going up north for a long drive to Evans Notch for some leaf peeping....if there are any left. No Honeymoon this year but hopefully next year we'll be in Ireland so some day trips will do just fine. New Hampshire is beautiful and I've spent two days on the Maine coast. Then renting the drum sander and tearing up the upper bedroom floors. This will be the first time I've refinished floors but they are so shot up I don't think (oh God.....watch over me) that I can screw them up too badly. Then sanding the wainscoting with my RO90 and Midi from Festool and stain and paint! Then my wife has asked me to build some small custom shelves around our tv (Call of Duty ultimate game view area) and a place to mount a speaker bar. Hopefully should be up there in less than a week.
  3. Sorry ,y friend, but I'm 6'01" and 210. My 14 Tundra is about as small as I can get
  4. The it's little laser gun from MiB. That and a Leatherman Mut or a SOG Power Assist at work. At home I have a Leatherman Charge AL. Also my quick wit, sarcastic one liners and natural New England Devil May Care attitude. Oh yeah...and my swinging....
  5. Thanks guys, I really appreciate that. Fantastic day, it was sixty and sunny and a great turnout. Samantha and I had a great time and it was awesome being around familia and friends. My parents are heading back to Florida tomorrow and I was on the coast with them taking some awesome photos today and yesterday Samantha and I saw a newer two mast sailboat, probably fifty footer, had broken it's mooring line and was slamming against the shore. Here in New England, we have very rocky coasts and that poor boat was getting torn asunder. Also saw a twenty one foot Whaler taking on water at its mooring. Today...the Whaler was upside down with just the bow breaking the surface. Crazy water and wind yesterday! Waves were pretty sweet today too. I'll check in again in a couple of days. Starting the bedroom reno today!
  6. hey guys! So I got married today! I'm going to be a little light on the forum for the next week, we're not going anywhere as we just fronted the wedding but Samantha and I will hit Ireland like a huge freakin' storm In a Year for our honeymoon. We'll be making some day trips out and about and we will be renovating the upstairs bedroom for a move to second floor...you know...."moving on up...to the east side (actually the second floor but it does t rhyme in my parody of moving from one bedroom to the second floor bedroom....)....to a deluxe apartment in the sky...y...y..
  7. Wow.....welcome aboard Claudio! I'm a quarter Italian! I u fortunately didn't get the Italian stallion part of the Italian but let me tell yeah.... I can make 25% of a person "sleep wit da fishes"!!!!!!!

  9. Welcome to the forum Tascher1and thanks for your service!
  10. Saran Wrap on the toilet bowl. Splash!
  11. Also....Wera is not made solely in the Chekz. ,my set is German made and the Chekz make the set without all the good extras.
  12. You gotta decide bro! Read the reviews but I've thrown my 2 cents in. Wiha is supposedly good too but for the most part what I have heard is Klein is great and first hand knowledge of Wera shows they are quite awesome. I'd suggest going to Woodcraft and checking out the Wera brand first hand, they grips and etching are really what make these tools awesome. Plus the lifetime warranty.
  13. Hmmmmm.....I'll be right back. Have to hit the head
  14. Hahahahahaha all that room is in the door for the cocaine compartments!
  15. Welcome to the forum. I have Wera Screwdrivers. I actually bought the Wera Kraftform Plus 334/6 set. These are honestly the best quality screwdrivers I've ever owned, the grips look weird but they are unbelievably comfortable. They are designed to fit in the cup of your hand or while using finger tips to give purchase. The tips are laser etched giving them a lot of grab. Made in Germany and have a Lifetime warranty. Also they have easy to read markings on the handle if you keep them in your tool belt or even if you keep them in the mountable carrier they come with for quick identification. I'd also like to mention Klein. I only have a nut drive but it's a really nice quality driver and more importantly it's made in the Good Ole USA.. Amazon has my Wera set For a little over $30 with six drivers (mixed) and a mount. Also tons of others including electricians sets, ratchets etc... Good luck!
  16. Yeah that is a heck of a deal and I actually like that circular saw. I used to own it before getting the M18.
  17. I'm really sorry for your loss Comp and that is a heck of a send off for your father and something you and your family can admire as well as remember the guy who started it for them by having you.
  18. First off...welcome to the forum Jared. As far as other platforms, at the end of the day you are vesting yourself in a battery platform. If Makita is serving you well, why not stay? Javier has some great video reviews (one of our members) on Makita tools. I am primarily now into Festool but have a Milwaukee M12 line for small cutters. I also have a Milwaukee battery (M18) to power my job light. I just bought the Dewalt Brushless 20v hammer. I think at the endo of the day you have to ask yourself, do you want to spend the money? I can vouch for Milwaukee. Their warranty and return service is one of the best. The battery technology is getting better and better and fuel gauges are standard on the M18 batteries and on the M12 tools. Makita hasn't introduced this and see,s to have until recently been pretty lackadaisical about upping their product line. But they are revving up now. It sounds like you've been lucky in your choice thus far so why change it up? I will say Milwaukee is a phenomenal tool line and to be quite honest, and God help me for saying this, Dewalt is really impressing me with this brushless hammer and now producing cordless tools in America. Good luck and welcome! Chris
  19. That's exact Y why I want it DR. Can put it up against the wall on a custom built table and it'll be solid solid solid!
