  1. Shocking, Festool Snob. If, IF, I were to change brands, I might go Makita on the 18v stuff. Actually, I already have a Makita 18v drill, so I guess I wouldn't technically be jumping ship. For 12v stuff, I might add Bosch, just for much more compact tools, but I am not giving up my Fuel M12 stuff... BTW, I went into Woodcraft in PDX the other day (looking at bandsaws), and was while there I was fondling the Festool stuff there. I know for certain I will NEVER get their D-handled driver, my mitts are too big to comfortably fit in the handle area. I think a week later I finally re-hydrated from all of my drooling...
  2. Nice, C-man. I'm a little jealous.
  3. Ah! I saw brushless and automatically thought cordless...
  4. Yes, I need to throw her over my knee and spank her...
  5. I have a fair number of Alligators and a Cobra or two, but I want to pick up a couple Pliers Wrenches...
  6. Pretty cool stuff. I want, though I have absolutely no need for, a Nepros adjustable wrench.
  7. In my dream shop I would have the Fein MM 350 and the M12 Milwaukee. In reality, if somebody runs the screaming deals like last year before Christmas, I'll end up with a Bosch.
  8. I'm pretty sure it's a result of the the way us 'muricans choose hand tool sizes versus the Euros... The European types tend to use 1/4" and 1/2" drive tools, skipping 3/8" (for the most part), while us freedom-loving types use 3/8" probably 80% of the time.
  9. Man, what was he working on when he tweaked the head?
  10. I suspect the vise is made in China, but it's still a Wilton...
  11. I have the M18 Fuel version of the compact model listed above. It zips the lugs off of my Expedition without drama. I don't know if it would work as easily on a heavier duty vehicle, such as an F250, though I suspect it would. Slight disclaimer: I'm a little neurtic about brake dust on the back of my wheels, so they (at least the fronts) get pulled even more often then the normal 5k rotation interval and the threads don't get reinstalled dry...
  12. While I dig anything German, and Festool in particular, I guess I don't understand a cordless tool with a vacuum tube...
  13. This is what I want... http://uk.milwaukeetool.eu/power-tools/cordless/m12-ciw12/
  14. Milwaukee for cordless, Bosch for 110v, Wright for hand tools.
  15. Mmmm, carbon fiber..... That being said, I'd do a Stabila at that price point long before I bought a DeWalt....
  16. I finally got around to getting my Traeger grill out of storage. Unfortunately, I think the heating unit is no good.
  17. I'd just love to be able to afford a new Super Duty Diesel, crew cab long box Lariat. A '69 Mach 1 restomod would be a dream car... hot 427 small block, 6 speed manual, performance suspension and brakes, Recaros....
  18. Close, but I need Oreos or Ding Dongs as well...
  19. I have a 5" Fein. If the Metabo is appreciable better, I'll be impressed. That being said, I WILL have a Metabo one of these days...

Took 'em with my phone... I couldn't find the charger for my DSLR....
  21. If you keep it under $100 you're doing better than me.
  22. I haven't seen 260 for at least 20 years... Though I AM 6'6" tall. Just dropped by urgent care for a nagging ankle injury and I missed weight guess by .6 pound... 335.6. Blood pressure was good, though....
  23. Holly crap? Is that what falls out of holly trees?

    Got a few new sockets:
  25. I have Wiha and Felo, and like them both. I've played with Wera, and liked to give them a try. I'd also like to try PBS Swiss as well.
