    Damn You Barnaby!!

Man, is that chick tiny or is the B-man that much of a big oaf? Lol
  2. I'm going to dissent. Have to show her who wears the pants in the family. LOL Good looking' pooch!
  3. Heck, I had to fight back a string of four-letter expletives myself...
  4. I bought the 3 ton standard model they had on a Black Friday sale for $60-something. I haven't beaten on it much, but it's picked up corners of the GF's Expedition maybe a dozen times (I HATE brake dust on the backside of wheels, and other random tasks). Works worlds better than the old 2 ton Performance Tool jack that I've had through: a '74 Datsun 710 wagon '79 CJ5 '88 Toyota 4x4 pickup '84 CJ7 '68 Mustang '01 F150 Over the years that little jack has done a lot of lifting. But the new one is faster to lift stuff, more stable, and doesn't bleed down when holding stuff up.
  5. I bought myself a floor jack from HF.

    M18 Fuel impacts

Heck, just the THOUGHT of not being able to access a fastener (whether it happens or not) should be justification enough to buy both...
  7. Too bad you're on the other side of OZ, Dwain. I have friends in Sydney that I'm going to visit one of these days. But Melbourne might be just a bit too far for a day trip...
  8. Thanks, Travis. Chad, reading that made me a little uncomfortable, the balls being to big to do. LOL
  9. Nice review, but you guys suck for making a video for a tool that I've discovered I can't live without but can't buy! Just a thought for the powers-that-be... How about working out a deal where a bunch of TIA tees are swapped for a bunch of OTT tees? That way the Aussies get some American swag and we get some of theirs? Just make sure there's some 3XL white or flo yellow/orange in the shipment, for us real man-sized guys. LOL
  10. Thanks, sir! I check the links out more closely tomorrow.
  11. I have some fairly big jobs coming up on my '01 F150 (SuperCrew 4WD Auto 5.4L) that I'm sure I'm going to need some new specialty tools for: Ball joints Seals and bearings in the rear axle I figure I'm going to need a ball joint press of some sort to get the new ones in, but am I going to need something other than a BFH to get the old ones out? I figure I'll need some sort of seal puller for the rear seals, and probably some sort of puller attached to a slide hammer for the bearings. Will I need some sort of drivers to get the new seals and bearings in? What I'm looking for are some suggestions as to specific tools (part numbers would be great) for what I'll need. I would prefer US made, but I'm not really in a position to be spending the money on, say, a Snap On BJP1... OTC? Does Proto have something appropriate (and, as importantly, can I justify the price)? Before you say, "rent or borrow" I have plans to pick up a project vehicle or two to rebuild with my son, so more than likely be used a fair amount (by shade tree standards, at least)... this F150, the GF's Expo, maybe a big Bronco and/or F250, maybe a Grand Cherokee... Senor Conductor? Mr. WoodstockVA? Thanks, fellas!
  12. I've run Bosch Platinum spark plugs in every car/truck I've owned going back to my first Jeep. I think I've used their wipers a couple of times, and they were fine. I doesn't get super cold here, so iced up windows are not really a problem, but it does rain a ton. I can't really see a huge difference between the premium brands... I get about a year out of them (new ones around October/November)...
  13. Yeah, that's about where it always is.
  14. So has anybody seen any deals on general M18 stuff? I want to pick up the 1/2" drive impact wrench (2655b-22) but haven't seen and screaming (or, really, any) deals....
  15. Just because it's a good idea doesn't mean you can't bust his chops over it... That's what friends are for!
  16. I think that's about $200 less than the normal price around here...
  17. Man, I should not have gone into HD right after I got a bonus check in the mail... I escaped so far with just getting my kid and I new gloves, but I'm thinking hard...
  18. I went to work and picked up a little overtime, and didn't have to fight any traffic doing a topo survey in downtown Portlandia (actually NW, but close enough...).
  19. Like I said, if I was setting a bunch of property corners, I'd be on that like a pack of dogs on a crippled cat...
  20. Yeah, curious about location as well. The 'spanner' makes me think you're in the UK....
  21. Yeah, man, I love old tools... But then again, I love shiny new tools as well...
