  1. Haha. Really hard to say. They are both really on par with each other in many ways.. neither one of themy is going to make better products in every catagory. They also each make tools that the other doesn't even make. You have to browse their offerings and consider what you would want to purchase. Then determine which brand is better in the catagories that matter most to you. Now if you were to say dewalt, Milwaukee or makita then the answer would clearly be makita! Lol. Jk They all have their strong and weak points
  2. That is their site, it doesn't get updated nearly as often as their ebay store.. usually ebay had the better prices also. http://www.ebay.com/usr/bishoptools?_trksid=p2053788.m1543.l2754 I took that off my phone so hopefully it works for you. The guy that handles all the marketing, purchasing shipping etc. Is named Jess. He's a great guy who I've come to know only from randomly finding them on ebay and then buying a bunch of stuff and emailing back and forth with him. I was the one who introduced him to the forum.. you might want to shoot him a pm on here letting him know what you want. I sure it would be at least as cheap as his ebay prices if not a little better.. not sure on that though.
  3. I have never seen a E900. Cool bike. You must have had a blast on that thing! The M900 is a great looking bike.. too bad it was beat up. It's crazy that a 20 year old bike still looks so good today, their designs are very timeless I ended up with an Arai Ducati strada tour x4. It's just the painted up version of the XD-4 I pulled the visor and it gives it a bad ass street look I don't have anything to compare it to but it seems a little loud above 70 or so.. great ventilation though.. I threw ear plugs in on my last long ride and it made it much more enjoyable My wife ended up with the shoei rf-1200
  4. Those Italians sure know how to make sexy looking stuff!
  5. Thanks man! The dealer I bought it from also had ktm, aprilia (but no shiver) and Kawasaki.. I liked the ktms second best for sure out of what was there.. sat on the versys but the wife and I just weren't that into it.. From the moment we walked into the store we both couldn't stop looking at this bike.. What monster did you look at? Funny you mentioned bar end mirrors.. just after I made the post I actually ordered some weighted bar ends and crg arrow bar end mirrors! The stock mirrors vibrate like crazy and you can't see anything out of them. When I was getting my 600 mile service done there was a guy there who pulled up with an older duc that had the dry clutch.. the sound was cool and definitely unique.. I'll stick with the wet though!
  6. Well boys.. a few weeks ago I picked up a bike. 2015 Ducati Monster 821.. it was the first bike I went to look at and it was love at first sight.. bought it that night and never regretted it.. exactly the bike I wanted, color, style, everything! Ridden about 900 miles already and having a blast Only mods so far have been a fender eliminator and removing all the factory warning stickers from the frame and such.. have some adjustible shorty levers on their way and the next mod will probably be suspension.. new springs front and rear and maybe new valves for the front. Second pic also shows it with the passenger seat cover removed
  7. This guy is gonna give a much nicer cut, probably move a bit faster through the cut and also it will allow you to make a straighter cut.. it's like cutting with a jigsaw vs a 7 1/4 circular saw. The jigsaw will be much harder to follow a straight line because the blade is so short front to back so it allows the saw to wander a bit. Same idea with the prazzi.. with a circular saw, so much of the blade remains in the kerf of the cut that it doesn't allow you to make wavy cuts as easily. Now with that said... I own a prazzi because I needed it for a specific job where I was cutting a bunch of 4x14 joists. The prazzi was perfect for me.. much cheaper, much smaller and the quality of cut was actually pretty good.. the cut ends of the joists were all hidden anyway
  8. They do make great framing and demolition blades. Even good blades for finish work..
  9. It might a bit but hopefully not.. my guess is that the new guys who are actively participating now will be around for a while even after October.. most people wouldn't put in the effort to post daily for months just to win a tool kit. My guess is that it will get even busier the week or two before the giveaway and those people won't be in for the long run, just for the chance to win some tools.. I'm sure I can speak for everyone and say we're glad to be stuck with you man, it's good having you around!!
  10. Sweet. Glad they are working out well for you!!
  11. That is pretty darn cool! I want one and don't even have a atv or lake! Haha Chrisk. This is all you man!
  12. Agreed on the drywall lift. If ever any of you have any amount drywall work, expecially ceilings, do yourself a favor and rent or buy a drywall lift. My harbor freight unit is great. I usually buy their 5mil nitrile gloves whenever I'm there
  13. All the techs in the shop I bring my motorcycle have sick looking Mac boxs... this one dude has what looks to be about a 55" lower in black and lime green... if I had to guess I would say that every one of them had between 5-10k invested in just their boxes. Crazy!
  14. I agree with what many have said, an impact driver will serve you plenty well.. unless your a mechanic with a need for a big impact every day you are much better off just getting the driver and having more versitaliity.. you will be able to do almost everything you might want to do to a car with it.. I use my impact driver on my truck whenever necessary.. if I run into a stubborn nut or bolt that it won't loosen I just Crack it loose with a breaker bar first then spin it off the rest of the way with the driver.. the few extra seconds it takes doesn't matter to me because that's not what I'm doing all day long or to make money.
  15. Chadstoolbox.Com usually has great prices on knipex stuff and will beat a better advertised price if you can find one.. wherever you buy them from, just buy them... they are great also the knipex pliers wrench has got to be one of the best hand tools ever made. Consider picking one up, they work amazingly well.
  16. I've only used a paslode cordless 16ga and really like it. Cant speAK for theit pneumatic guns bUT they seem nice.. I haven't used them but hear grex makes some really nice guns also. For a different option, A carpenter buddy of mine uses Cadex guns and the few times I have used them on a job they have been super nice.. when my pneumatic bostitch finish guns go I will probably replace them with Cadex
  17. I use mostly pneumatic guns because you really can't beat the speed and reliability of them.. I run everything from flooring nailers, coil framing, stick framing, roofing, siding, palm nailers, Brad guns pin guns staplers etc... I do however keep a angled 16ga paslode cordless nailer in my trailer for quick jobs where it just doesn't make sense to drag out the compressor and hoses.
  18. That video was great. Hilarious!!!! Thanks for the laugh DR
  19. Really freaking cool man! Love that design
  20. There is a place called Analtech in Delaware.. combination of the words "analytical" and "technology."
  21. nice! You will get great service from them and your definitely gonna like those new tools!
  22. Welcome Dennis! Your gonna love it here and you will be a forum master in no time! Are you using a computer or mobile device? The quote feature isn't always visible on mobile devices unless you tap somewhere within the post you would like to reply to.. this expands the post and gives you a few options. there is really no way for the person to get a notification that you replied to their post, the quote feature just adds the old post to your new post so people know who your talking to and what about. If there is a particular post that you want to let the person know that you really liked it you can click the check icon or like button at the top right of the post and that will directly notify the poster of that comment that you like what they said. Another way to reach out to a member directly is to open their profile by clicking on their username. Here you will see an option to send this person a private message.. the person you are sending the private message to would get a notification and only you and that person could see what you are talking about. Hope you are enjoying the forum so far, it's really a great group of guys all with a common love for tools.. feel free to ask any questions, we were all new to this at one point and very willing to help
