Yea I hate marketing I go into to many rants.

Makes scene I'm pretty sure some air compressor manufactures use this to when you see a 1 gallon hot dog style that's a made in china brand and says 1.5-2 horsepower you know something is up.

Considering a 60 gallon air compressor that does 17cfm@100psi has 5 horsepower motor and a 1500CFM dust collector has about a 2 horsepower motor how the heck is this 5 horsepower something big is being puled out of the marketing teams anus on this thing.

I don't lift plywood and doors enough to justify the purchase of one of these but I still want it.

Well we use purolator so I don't think there are any add on fees in the shipping and the power tools come from the states so they shouldn't have anything that would make a service center know that they are purchased in Canada. But don't expect warranty from the no name brand stuff or stuff you don't have in the states.

No my parents have made me work for everything since I was a kid then again it has really helped me in the long run so the Sawstop is going to have to come out of my pocket.

My mom says that if I do buy a table saw it has to be a Sawstop so I'm going to have to suck up to it eventually.

I wonder if saying "Sawstop @ 2500$" fast sounds cheap wait nope not at all.

I have heard there good for cutting multiple types of materials without having to switch out blades as much.

With the Canadian dollar riding at 80 cents it sure drops some prices.

Oh yea I feel like Festool would be beast but once you go green your wallet is clean.

I would say miter saws come before riveters in the cordless revolution. But table saws will be last because if you look at them they are not run on and off they run constantly and they need tons of power and run idle for most of it.

What really makes me pissed is when they compare there product to tools that don't even belong in that class. Like no wonder there is "less fatigue" those are some of the heaviest corded circular saws made.

General International makes 2 nice hanging air filters I will be getting one as soon as i start my shop.

I was amazed at the run time results it goes to show that Milwaukee uses premium lithium batteries compared to makita and that Milwaukee brushless motors are not to be made fun of.

It seems very popular among wood workers in north america but other than that people go for the D handle.

Well why do you need 700 fastening and 1100 breakaway foot pounds on a 1/2 inch it makes more sense to have that on a 3/4" so it dose not deform your sockets as much and just settle for the 200 foot pound fuel for a half inch.

When they bring these boxes over the border I don't know what they do but somehow the price skyrockets, then again its going to get worse now that the Canadian dollar dropped to 80 cents, that's not going to help prices anytime soon.
