  1. You got that right! You're never done when you own a home there's always something to do. Once the warmer weather arrives, were going to continue on the back yard rehab project. "The Big Fill". I can't wait to get that one going again.

Sweet deal. I managed to find for $90 about 3 weeks ago. I love it.
  3. Thanks for following along. It was a fun project but I'm glad it's finally done. Lol
  4. The past 5 weeks have been busy since we decided to continue into the kitchen with the flooring. We also painted the kitchen as well. I think we spent more time on prep and atoning for my previous DIY sins in this room than actual painting the room. I believe we finally achieved the 100% completion mark on this project. Even managed to score a almost perfect pub table from CL for $275 and had our first meal in the sunroom tonight. It felt pretty good to sit in the leather chairs and eat some leftover pizza.
  5. Heat gun on low. That plastic bag will melt pretty easily and you should be able to to use a an old credit card or a wood shim to get it off.
  6. For a toilet. I would recommend a handicap/comfort height model, The seat is 2-3 inches higher than a standard toilet and is much more comfortable when you're taking care of business. I put a Kohler unit in my upstairs bath and it's awesome. (For a toilet)
  7. I'm using the peg style.
  8. Nice score. This is one of the main reasons I like going to estate sales. You can find major deals on some unique items.
  9. Never underestimate the power of a ratchet strap.
  10. SONS O'BITCHES! BUMPUSES!!!
  11. That isn't a tool, that's a murder weapon. Kudos for you manhandling that thing around.
  12. Sounds like the fuel pickup line in the tank fell off.
  13. Screw the pawnshops. I'll just go to estate sales if I want to look for used tools.
  14. I missed that. Yah, essentially it's a new burner at this point.
  15. I used OSB in my 24x24. I love it.
  16. That sucks, essentially you have replaced everything in the burner with the exception of the oil pump and the squirrel cage. At least it's getting to the end of the heating season.
  17. I have the Ryobi as well. My only complaint is that of the light location. It's buried behind the spindle and essentially casts light on the tube and not the work. It should have included a flex light.
  18. I bought this yesterday. I think I spent about 15 minutes in the aisle looking at all of the offerings before I decided on this one. I really like the autolock feature. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Stanley-FatMax-25-ft-Auto-Lock-Tape-Measure-FMHT33338L/204624581?keyword=autolock+stanley
  19. I bought some of the newer poly air hose. So much easier to roll up compared to the old rubber stuff. http://www.harborfreight.com/14-in-x-25-ft-polyurethane-air-hose-60353.html
  20. I just sold my 26 gallon vertical compressor after 5 years since I never used it. Everything I do, I can get by with cordless.
  21. I save and pay cash when i'm ready. In my mid 20's I was irresponsible with the use of CC's and quickly got in over my head. My wife and I pretty much have sworn them off and hardly ever use the one's that we do have. My biggest issue now is going through the posts and determining all the goodies being a Need or a Want. Seriously, you guys are like crack dealers.
  22. We have one of them up in my area. I refuse to eat anything that came out of that crapwagon.
  23. I love the "Marvin the Martian" over sized helmets.
