  1. WELCOME BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. @ChrisK Do you like the little black deals between the jaws on the Bessey clamps? I noticed the Jets don't have the non marring pads on the jaws. Do you see this as an issue? I found this bessey on home depot. seems like a decent deal. http://www.homedepot.com/p/BESSEY-50-in-K-Body-REVO-Parallel-Clamp-with-Composite-Plastic-Handle-and-3-3-4-in-Throat-Depth-KR3-550/204986216 the jets prices seem decent on amazon
  3. New battery technology is being produced. Sounds fairly close to being ready for the tool market. May replace Li-ion batteries like they replaced Ni-cad batteries. No really any downsides to the battery except it may not be compatible with li-ion tools. https://www.protoolreviews.com/news/solid-state-battery-technology/30038/

    Family work

My brother recently got a Ruger. 9mil I think. My dad calls it his grandchild now. Wouldn't be surprised if he took the gun out for ice cream.
  5. @SetBuilder its a heated chicken condo now?
  6. how long do they last for you? Also these are made in United States which seems promising for longer blade life. Not sure where the other blades. are made.
  7. I liked how each tool had its own wall cubby.
  8. @rrmccabe this is the style of clamp I am interested in. @ChrisK I seen those. Look heavier duty than my Irwin trigger clamps also longer options as well.
  9. What would you guys suggest for a good starter set of parallel bar clamps? I already have 4 of the 6in Irwin quickgrip trigger clamps. They work ok for smaller things but I am going to need some bigger clamps soon. I heard Bessey and Jet clamps are good. Irwin has a couple similar clamps as well.
  10. @Framer joe I'll take a flexvolt tape measure please.
  11. I think they either come in bags or blow mold cases. Not for sure though. If anything I wouldn't mind blow mold boxes getting replaced by tstaks. Ideally I would want them to come in a tough box but that is the least likely scenario.
  12. Saw these on instagram. Breakaway recip blades by DeWALT.
  13. also the wheel barrow, fan, track saw, and new bluetooth stuff. Possibly new dust collection to meet the september osha requirements.
  14. glue guns seem like more of a diy thing to me than a pro thing but I agree would be easy to convert the B&D to a DeWALT.
  15. hmm.... I only saw one product. I'm guessing you will make other threads on other products or post more in this thread?
  16. I thought you were already married?
  17. what is on may 6th? I see Milwaukee: m12, m18, Dewalt: 8v, stick pac 18v, 20v max Kobalt: 24v max, 20v Ridgid: 18v 8 battery platforms. Might be a new TIA record.
  18. I find the blade shadow on the 790 is hard to see in bright areas. I wonder if a colored led would aid in visibility when the saw is used in bright areas.
  19. Ridgid does make a good vac. cfm levels are great. Possibly enough to get them second place in shop vac cfm ratings. a ridgid pro system compatible gen 5x vac or compressor would be cool. Same goes with a tough system vac, and compressor.
  20. @tugnut1 like @rrmccabe mentioned Great Lakes woodworking is widely used. Might be more beneficial to choose something else?
  21. so what are you doing in the picture with your legs sticking up? Have you ever seen any cast iron pipe full of black sludge type stuff? Is the last picture plumbers installing shingles? Ever find any old newspapers, magazines, or anything else hidden in the walls or ceilings/floors? A guy at work found 3 papers from early 1900's hidden in the ceiling of one of our current jobs.
  22. I was wondering the same thing. wheres the white box.
