  1. would a true 36v battery have the potential for even higher demand tasks than an x2 setup?
  2. that bit is massive. Almost bigger than the drill itself.
  3. So I talked to a DeWALT support specialist and asked about a Flexvolt Track Saw release date (the North American model) They were unable to tell me a release date. Not sure if they just didn't know or were trying to keep it a secret. Rumors were it might be released in April. I also asked about dates for DeWALT's big June event and they told me they have multiple events planned throughout the year. They neither confirmed a June event nor divulged any dates for future events.
  4. so its pizza toppings?
  5. @olletsocmit I haven't used a smart switch before. Would be nice to have a switch that turns the light off but doesn't cut power.
  6. does the 20v laser have this option?
  7. Shouldn't be too hard considering I've never had coffee before. haha
  8. I would guess my school gets some kind of discount as well. Maybe they don't get much discount on mdf. They use more top quality 3/4 oak ply than mdf.
  9. When doing tool comparisons, as many variables as possible have to be taken into account. If that means using the same blade when testing saws you use the same blade. If your testing blades you test each blade with the same saw.
  10. hmm I was pretty sure what I paid for mdf at school was around $30. Maybe my school had higher grade mdf?
  11. At around $30 for a 4x8 sheet of mdf it would be fairly cost effective I would think.
  12. is it possible for the side handles to open up just enough to where the box could vibrate off of the rack during travel in a van or trailer?
  13. How accurate is this router? Looked to me like the person guided the router along a path on the screen. Wouldn't it be tricky to keep it on the path? looked like the router could move the bit on the x and y axis so maybe some kind or auto correct?

A lot of the DeWALT cordless tools I have gottem have come in retail boxes. I've wondered why it wasn't put inside a shipping box.
  15. theres a 20v max version. Not sure how it compares to the 18v or the corded.
  16. DeWALT has been moving back to building tools in United States.
  17. Unless your yellow.
  18. Was exploring routers the other day; particularly the DeWALT 3 hp EVS Plunge Router and the Milwaukee 3-1/2 Max HP Fixed-Base Production Router. I came across this adapter from DeWALT. I knew Festool made one but had no idea anyone else made one. Anyone ever seen or used it? Is it any good? http://www.dewalt.com/en-us/products/accessories/tool-accessories/saw-accessories/track-saw-accessories/tracksaw-router-adapter/dws5031
  19. I think I clean mine too much haha.

I would've thought that something like a compressor would be in a more sturdy shipping box around the retail packaging.
