  1. oh its finally on their site. nice. This tools looks very handy especially with the extendable pole and pivoting cutter head. I think the decision to go 40v instead of flexvolt in this tool was a smart move since its more geared towards the professional ope user. I could use one of these but with only having a need to use it 2 to 4 times a year I'm not sure its worth the price.
  2. I agree. The blackened tools to me at least seemed like they were just 20v tools with a flexvolt battery attached.
  3. maybe it will be a 1" impact wrench compete with the 1" impact wrench market?
  4. I was stumped on how a cordless tool would activate the vac but when they said bluetooth it made total sense.
  5. I wonder if it would work with One Key enabled tools? I doubt DeWALT would allow One Key to be compatible with Tool Connect.

  7. oh nice job. What kind of Oliver saw is this. Whats the quality like?
  8. I could see wireless activation as something useful on corded tools as well because each tool could have their own outlet. Comp confirmed 60v adapter and Skill Builder confirmed 54v variant.

It would come in of 3 color options. high vis white, yellow, and orange. Each will have glow in the dark properties to add extra function to the tool. Thing is with Milwaukee red, DeWALT yellow, Makita teal, and Bosch blue is they don't add any function. Only thing they have going for them is coolness factor and looks.
  10. The DeWALT rep said they are working on a tool actuated vac that works with cordless tools. Possibly via bluetooth or nfc and might be out by the end of the year. Also the vac shown is only an 18v vac. It is not a flexvolt vac but it does fit flexvolt batteries and can also be used as corded. It is confirmed once again that there is a 54v to corded adapter in the works specifically for the table saw. He did not specifically confirm it would work with other flexvolt tools but hinted it may be a possibility. Hopefully some of this stuff comes to the NA market in addition to the EU market. The bluetooth vac sounds interesting. Was a solution to the problem of cordless tools not being able to trigger vacs I never really thought about but seems like an ingenious idea. I wonder if there will be a tool connect adapter that fits flexvolt tools. Seems like the kind of tools one would want to use with a bluetooth vac. Also DeWALT will eventually include M class filters for handling dust for cutting mdf. I am unaware if OSHA requires them yet but it's nice DeWALT will eventually include them.

    2022

I hope we see safer saws in 2022 or shortly after. I'm guessing many may have them in the works just won't unveil them until the patents run out?
  13. is the volt fully electric like a tesla or is it a hybrid?

The color will be available in glow in the dark white, high vis yellow, and/or high vis orange. because functional colors.
  15. I prefer white more than yellow I like how you threw in a grinder in the background.
  16. m28 to m18 adapter could work but I'm not a big fan of adapters
  17. What is this DVD you speak of? Haha I actually used a dvd on Sunday. I could see m28 replacing high demand m18 tools if they come back.
  18. anyone think Milwaukee will revamp the m28 line or just let it die?
  19. ah ok. thought maybe the fittings were the same kind per bucket.
