  1. for the average person the Bluetooth batteries aren't very useful in my opinion. I'm not sure how the adapter could affect the tool but I could see it providing extra functionality to the batteries. I hope the battery functionality is expanded upon. I never really saw a need for a Bluetooth battery.
  2. Will be nice to see a comparison between one key tools and tool connect tools. appears as though a Bluetooth 6.0 is in the works. I wonder if the heavy duty drill has more power than the hammerdrill? It looks massive and the metal housing behind the chuck looks like it could withstand an explosion.
  3. but...but... I just bought the flexvolt drill kit.

  8. We do whatever jobs my boss gets. whether is building a custom house to odd jobs to remodels. We sub out plumbing and electrical. Some other things we may sub out if the job is large enough or something we don't have the tools/skills/know-how to do them. Most small jobs we wont sub much out. Last Friday I was looking through/throwing out boxes full of old papers from past projects like receipts, plans, order forms, etc. for a particular order for a patio door. I think the oldest box I looked through was from the early 90's. My boss has been in the biz for quite awhile. He has done something like 200 custom homes. including some high end ones. He is a bit old school I guess you could say cause he tends to be a pack-rat, will talk your ear off, and doesn't see the need to have a tool trailer or a spray room. A couple guys in the crew are hopefully gonna take over the first of the year in 2018. We will see though. He has said he is gonna get out of it for quite some time, I have heard, yet hasn't retired yet. This time sounds the most promising. The guys taking over are going to make a few changes. Not sure about all of the changes but hopefully for the better.

    SketchUp?

Yeah i can get any Autodesk software but I was looking for a long term solution since you only get a copy for 3 years. I haven't used Inventor in quite awhile but I use Solidworks which is basically the same. There's one program called Inventor Fusion that is basically a free version of Inventor that I may try.

    SketchUp?

Anyone here ever use SketchUp? I may try it out for drawing furniture projects. Do you like the program? I tried it awhile back and was not impressed but that's coming from someone who has used other drafting programs from Autodesk and the like. I may give it a second go it you guys say its really good. How easy is it to use and learn? I only used it very minimal. Mostly just tried it out. Seemed hard to dimension and whatnot. If I remember correctly snaps were harder to get than other programs. May try out a tutorial if it would be beneficial to me. Do you use the free version or the paid? Back when I tried it there was a free and paid version. That was probably at least 2 years ago. I'm sure it probably has changed by now. If there is a paid version in addition to a free what are the advantages over the free and is it worth it to get the paid? Is there anything you feel it is missing that you would like it to have? If I remember correctly I felt the dimensioning and snaps were lacking. I'm sure I wasn't using them to their fullest. I was trying the program without any tutorials. Seems to me like a very popular program to draw out furniture plans.
  18. would this fit your needs? http://www.dewalt.com/products/accessories/fastening-and-screwdriving-bits/sleeves-holders-and-drive-guides/impact-ready-right-angle-attachment/dwara100 I'm not a big fan of dedicated small right angle drills because the power is low and the chucks are not very good.
