  1. @KnarlyCarl the blade move more like a multitool or a jigsaw?
  2. hehe a chainsaw hockey stick.
  3. what color did you get?
  4. looks like the handles were engineered to fit the average working man's hand. Look a lot bigger than other router handles. Looks like a good deal to me considering its a Makita and Makita is known for quality.
  5. Would be nice to see removable cords like Hilti has. Makes replacing them a lot easier. I don't know if the switch is worth fixing.
  6. interesting choice to go with an open battery compartment. Almost Milwaukee like.
  7. Should be a requirement on large drills. Them things are powerful.
  8. Think a pro 6 will be announced before the pro 5 arrives to users?
  9. is there a subcompact version?
  10. I'm not a big fan of what looks to me to be a lack of metal parts around the blade. You find any issues with this? Do you have the router with the track base? I wonder if other companies would come out with a track compatible router.
  11. at least its not a disc launcher.
  12. Does their drill has the same technology as the new Hilti where if the drill twists too hard it will stop power to the tool or is it different?
  13. Its a shame SawStop is making a monopoly. Reaxx is the superior system.
  14. me neither. bosch 12v is a bit small but quality is great. A good all around line. I prefer Makita 12v because of the more ergonomic slide pack style handle. @Theultimatehic if you are interested in 18v I would suggest Makita subcompact. They are very small for 18v yet have a lot of the features of an 18v like 3 speed impact and brushless motors. Power is good as well. If you ever happen to need more power their top of the line drill and impact are some of the best.
  15. Technically SawStop is breaking the law themselves right? Isn't there a law that states monopolies are illegal?
  16. tries to fit a bag phone in it.
  17. trick out the edge band in gold and viola completely luxury.
  18. looks like luxury. nice job
  19. nice looking holders. Does the bottom portion slide out?
  20. When's the next notable tool event after WoC?
  21. any twin blade utility knives coming?
  22. would be nice. A corded hybrid would be cool as well.
  23. yeah concord carpenter talked about it.
  24. don't give up. You can do it.
