  1. From what I heard at the time of their ending production of these trailers they were going strong. I thought I heard the owner wanted out and didn't want to pass it on or sell it to somebody else.
  2. @DooDar your wanting to get the port from the flexvolt and try it on your corded, so you don't have to have the flexvolt? or will you keep both? Also what's type 1, 2, and 3 mean in terms of plunge saw?
  3. @DooDar so you are buying a corded with airlock and are getting rid of the flexvolt? I thought there may be an airlock for large diameter vac hose and one for small diameter vac hose also I think the vac should have an adapter to fit between either size of hose. I did a quick model number search of your saw and happened to run across this https://www.partshopdirect.co.uk/dewalt-dws520-type-3-corded-plunge-saw-spare-parts-s8404/ Don't know if this is a good site. Might be worth a shot? I noticed you said type 3 so I was wondering what type 3 meant and if there is a type 1 and type 2?
  4. Adjustable shoes are for depth setting?

    Resaw !

    I like it. Cool design
  6. hmm why not have one saw that can be both a blade right and a blade left? Maybe handles could slide off then swap position then the blade could be flipped around. The tool would be smart enough to determine which direction to turn the blade based on what side the handle is connected to.
  7. I thought they wanted blade right haha. what convenience features? I know rafter hook and 4 way recip chuck but is there anything else?
  8. does it got a light? Doesn't look like I see a rafter hook either. You'd think they would be standard on a pro level saw.
  9. I don't have a dog only a 17 year old cat. I enjoy playing with dogs but I don't like em much cause cleanup is more of a hassle, they tend to bark a lot, and you gotta wash them. I remember the days of when I had a dog my dad had me go around the yard with a bucket and shovel. I find many owners don't cleanup after them. It's especially bad when it's a job site and all the guys are stepping in it then tracking it into the customer's house.
  10. @ChrisK even has a festool level. Do you got a systainer for your level? Oh wow the makita box connects to systainers.
  11. Nice setup. Pegboard is tried and true and cheap. The pegboard is not too much either. I'm not a big fan of peg board but i'm sure there are a lot of guys who couldn't go without it. That hammer is cool. I have never seen one like it. looks specialized. What do you use it for?
  12. It is lockable but I don't know how secure it is. I'm guessing the quality wasn't the greatest. A guy I knew had a car trailer from the same company and indicated from what he had to do to the car trailer that the quality wasn't up there. I wouldn't mind seeing somethign like this from another company. Maybe better quality at the very least.
  13. Not sure what section this would fall into so I put it here since it is pulled by a vehicle. Anyone ever seen these? http://www.tool-rank.com/tool-blog/cool-tools/the-ultimate-job-site-trailer-20081229331/ I seen one in person a while back and they are pretty cool but for whatever reason the company stopped making them. Far as I know they had good sales. It has a spot for table saw and miter saw plus can fit 4x8 sheets via the door on the front. There also isn't much wasted space because you don't need an aisle to walk in to access tools. All of them can be accessed from the outside. Fairy easy setup once you reach the job site. Just unhook the trailer and plug it into power then your ready to work.
  14. does that bosch say sds on the chuck?
  15. Oh haha didn't even see you say get them dirty until now. I kinda clean my tools alot
  16. self cleaning vac with dust deputy should work. Might not ever have filter clogs haha.
  17. Should be called Murican Eagle to ensure its made in USA
  18. nice setup @JimboS1ice. I like how you mixed different systems together. Just ordered myself a ds300 box.

    Squaring

Was first time I used the 20v hand planer. In fact first time I had ever used any hand planer.
  20. well craigslist is a no go for me. Search table saw in my area and only get 2 options. Both options are not table saws. haha.
  21. Used a bosch corded jigsaw at school and it worked great.

    Squaring

I found that my 20v planer is hard to keep square. too much pressure on one side and it'll start to slope. Unless I was using it wrong. This is what was happening to me. I made a quick oblique view of how my boards turned out after planing the edge. The grey indicates square corners. The top surface has a slope. I'm guessing too much pressure on either the left side or right side of the 20v planer caused the slope? maybe the 20v planer wasn't quite flat on the board?
