NicholasShetley
We finally have the frame and rear end painted. We painted the door trim and dash as well, we were going to wood grain the dash but we decided it wouldn't be worth it. The glass is being cut for everything this week. Now everything should fall into place. My grandpa thinks that the engine has a cracked head on it, but he has a fairly potent set of aftermarket ones ready to go. We still need a wiring harness but we might have found one today.

Javier
That's a nice hot red color, looks nice
NicholasShetley
I like the color of it. Ignore the way the tires look in the front. They don't look like that at all in person.
NicholasShetley
We finally have the glass in except the windshield. It is going in tomorrow since I'm off for "spring" break. We might be putting the bed on tomorrow as well. My dad and I should be starting on the engine soon. So far the only bad thing is since the cab is chopped there is a large lack of headroom, being 6' 2" doesn't help either. The pictures are of the finished rear end and the interior. If the carpet looks wavy it is because it isn't fully glued down yet.

NicholasShetley
It is fun. The only thing that wasn't was all of the sanding.
Conductor562
Sanding is usually the shittiest part of any project.

Conductor562
Looking awesome Nick! The chop is going to make the whole project.
NicholasShetley
The top of the cab barely comes up to the bottom of my rib cage lol. Everyone who comes out to visit falls in love with it.

NicholasShetley
The new cam is in. The engine needs painted and then put back together then it will be done. We are trying to decide a color. We are either going to paint it black or red, what to you guys think?
DR99
I personally think red looks really good with all the chrome work on the engine, but black is probably easier to keep clean and will look nice longer.
NicholasShetley
I should mention it will have a chrome timing gear cover and corvette valve covers.
Javier
Red will be a nice contrast to the black body
NicholasShetley
Well the engine is painted. We went with the same red as the frame. I didn't take any pictures as the engine is still drying.
