ChrisK Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 No credit to me....I was just checking over at ToolGuyd and we were wrong!!!!!! Another tool box, non modular. But....American made!!!!http://toolguyd.com/milwaukee-bucket-tool-box/ 1
JeremyJ Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 Interesting concept. Still hoping on a modular stackable unit. Considering Dewalt has two versions of what i am looking for, they will probably get my couple hundred dollars. It might work as a painter's/mudder box. When is the yearly product convention/demo?
ChrisK Posted July 2, 2014 Author Report Posted July 2, 2014 Beats me but according to Stuart, this won't come out till August.....AND....they may have polled some people and there is not enough demand for modular?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Arghhhhhhhhhh. Guess I'm going to try Dewalt out
DR99 Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 Milwaukee might feel that the market is too saturated now to compete in.
RedSionnach Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 Milwaukee might feel that the market is too saturated now to compete in.You mean like the scissor and marker market? 6
KaHuNaZ Posted July 2, 2014 Report Posted July 2, 2014 I like this box already. sure looks like it beats the bucket im carrying around already.
Punda1991 Posted July 3, 2014 Report Posted July 3, 2014 I've yet to see tough boxes on a job site lol
ChrisK Posted July 3, 2014 Author Report Posted July 3, 2014 Ask Regopit, that seems to be all he uses and they look to be really well built. And keep in mind this is from me....Milwaukee dude. I'm really disappointed by this. The two boxes that are out look like really well built boxes and definitely fit a need but...
DR99 Posted July 3, 2014 Report Posted July 3, 2014 I think I might be putting most of my Red tools in Yellow and Black T-stacks. I don't need a tough box durability, but I need to organize my tools better.
Punda1991 Posted July 5, 2014 Report Posted July 5, 2014 I know he owns them, I'm just saying I've never seen them out in the wild yet! It's really expensive but it's a good investment! Red will launch more boxes
ChrisK Posted July 5, 2014 Author Report Posted July 5, 2014 I hope they do Punda, but I'd like the modular units. I love my L boxxes and Systainers but I'd like to have a few red ones to put my red tools in!
Javier Posted July 5, 2014 Report Posted July 5, 2014 Beats me but according to Stuart, this won't come out till August.....AND....they may have polled some people and there is not enough demand for modular?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Arghhhhhhhhhh. Guess I'm going to try Dewalt out the comment about the market poll is his guess as to why they haven't come out with any- doesn't mean they wont or will. I'm interested to see their stackable boxes if they ever come out with any. I will expect them to have something extra like a wire stripper and bottle opener built in

And maybe some innovative Job Site Scissors on it and a Heavy Duty Job Site Beer Helmet with wire stripper attachment!
Punda1991 Posted July 6, 2014 Report Posted July 6, 2014 I have faith they will! Dewalt bosch makita festool not Milwaukee doubt it, my guess is they are just taking there time with them going for perfection
Javier Posted July 6, 2014 Report Posted July 6, 2014 Well....duhhhh. And maybe some innovative Job Site Scissors on it and a Heavy Duty Job Site Beer Helmet with wire stripper attachment! the Jobsite box lid is detachable and can be used as a safety hat with built in beer holders 1
ChrisK Posted July 6, 2014 Author Report Posted July 6, 2014 I have faith they will! Dewalt bosch makita festool not Milwaukee doubt it, my guess is they are just taking there time with them going for perfectionThat's why I have been holding out, my Hypoid saw needs a home. I figured if Milwaukee does it, they'll do it right. Something super strong like Dewalt's system but innovative like the new Milwaukee box.
Punda1991 Posted July 6, 2014 Report Posted July 6, 2014 I have a feeling they are saving the best for last 1
ChrisK Posted July 6, 2014 Author Report Posted July 6, 2014 I hope so Punda. It'd be nice to see Milwaukee hit it out of left field with a phenomenal modular unit. I keep waiting. I hope they release the next one soon.
Punda1991 Posted July 6, 2014 Report Posted July 6, 2014 They know they have to do something, I'm sure they read this aswell lol
Conductor562 Posted July 6, 2014 Report Posted July 6, 2014 I hope so Punda. It'd be nice to see Milwaukee hit it out of left field with a phenomenal modular unit. I keep waiting. I hope they release the next one soon. You mean over the monsta? 1
