djslater Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 Has anyone ever seen this?: http://www.amazon.com/Hazet-HZ166N-Collapsible-Tool-Trolley/dp/B00FY7JFPK/ref=pd_ybh_4 This looks like a seriously awesome cart...but $1500!!!! I believe it is shipped direct from Germany. 1
Conductor562 Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 That is an awesome cart! The price doesn't surprise me much though. Hazet is the German equivalent of Snap-On. Very nice stuff, but very expensive as well. That is a seriously killer cart though. 1
Bigmikez Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 Looks very cool but I wonder how balance would b on it. Very cool though
NicholasShetley Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 It looks cool but not $1600 cool. 1
DR99 Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 Yea I have to agree with Nicolas $1600 dollars is pretty insane. You could buy alot of systainers, lboxes, tstacks, and tough boxes for that kind of money. If it was all metal maybe I could justify the price but it looks like is mostly injection molded plastic. I know conductor mentioned its is a premium German tool brand so it is going to be expensive. Realty wise I would be willing to spend maybe 200 dollars on something like that. 1
djslater Posted September 4, 2014 Author Report Posted September 4, 2014 I don't have that kind of coin...maybe some of the Festool fans do...lol ;-)
Conductor562 Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 If you price a nice cart from Snap-On, Mac, Matco, or Cornwell, you'll see that $1600 isn't too far off the going rate.
chadlanthier Posted September 5, 2014 Report Posted September 5, 2014 Yeah my wallet is saying hell no.
RickyMcGrath Posted November 7, 2014 Report Posted November 7, 2014 Eff that.... That thing costs about $75 to make. It's neat though. Just no where near $1600. $300 would be my threshold for something like that.
chadlanthier Posted November 7, 2014 Report Posted November 7, 2014 Festool fans wouldn't spend that either, there broke from buying the Festool tools.
Samuel L. Posted November 7, 2014 Report Posted November 7, 2014 Heck I can Buy the absolute top of the line Mac tools Service Cart for 300$ more.
RickyMcGrath Posted November 8, 2014 Report Posted November 8, 2014 The question is, since it's German made, does it hold a U.S. patent?
