Here's a beast of a spline drive rotary hammer that I used today, thought I would show you what the big guns look like

It's a workout holding it up on a wall like this.

I saw this and I was like, "Man what a wuss. That's just a regular D handle roto hammer. Wait oh s*** that thing is massive." Forgive me for doubting you.

Yeah.... the picture doesn't do it justice!

It's a $1000 machine, and can drill 6" cores, it hits like the hulk and the whole building feels it!

Hackzall, Husky file, and Swanson square to cut out my switch panel.

Test fit in the ash tray opening

20160326_182221_zpscbuonxua.jpg

Layed out with General automatic center punch and scribe.

20160326_182821_zpstx29hrs9.jpg

Drilled with my Dewalt.

20160326_183418_zpse1yywjwk.jpg

Given a nice wire finish with my Dewalt grinder

20160326_184928_zpsp1f8anf4.jpg

And stamped with a set of Pittsburghs and estwing

20160326_191338_zps35jsxg1x.jpg

This sexy fella to test if my switches were in the on or off position.

20160326_191738_zpsiakabuaa.jpg

Backside cut out using M12 rotary tool

20160326_194254_zpshclr28wo.jpg20160326_194250_zpsxbrdl9zj.jpg

And this custom Key-hole saw...

20160326_194240_zpsbtymtjig.jpg

Wires pulled with awesome Thexton wire insertion tool. I just need a bigger one to do more than one wire at a time.

20160326_201340_zpsarvvegjc.jpg

Switches installed in panel. Sorry for doucey filters.

IMG_20160326_192952_zpscopt9sns.jpg

I gotta figure out a better mounting method than the interference fit and screws.

Let there be light!

Cutting out for the toilet and water lines in the bathroom subfloor. Nothing too exciting but I got to use some sweet tools! You can't see them in the picture but I busted out the Toughbuilt saw horses as well. Those things are really nice. c5ef08203ffffb176b358db549b8e862.jpg

Try drilling holes and using pop rivets if there is anything in back to rivet too looks good nice work

Yeah the HF lights are supposed to work out well if you drill a drain hole in them.

That's cool, I can see that being a necessary step.

Time to use those other two switches up for something now

Thanks, there wasn't anything behind them except like an 1/16" lip. I might have to mess around with some other ideas. If it was possible, i'd just do custom vehicle wiring systems for a living. Its one of the few things I enjoy doing. I'd like to tinker around with doing custom ignition systems like I plan on doing with my truck. I want to get into doing programmable ECU's and converting old vehicles to MPFI and coil on plug with just a throttle body on top. That, and doing forced induction builds from the ground up with water meth injection. Maybe some nitrous too. I like doing custom fuel plumbing too. Okay I guess what I'm trying to say is that I wish I could make a living building ground up hot rods.

Didn't nothing to exciting nut I got to come home early today and out up a shop light that my gramps gave to me, I painted it a couple days ago and today I threw some TIA swag on there and hung it up finally. Feels good to have some extra light in there for when I'm working on a car or a project :) been working on cleaning out garage also I'll try and post video soon if I don't chicken out lol
