Eric - TIA
I am not a huge fan of meatloaf, in fact it's probably my least favorite dish. We went to a friends house tonight and guess what was on the menu, yes meatloaf. However he did it with a twist. He smoked the meatloaf, never knew you could smoke a meatloaf. There was a brat inside and bacon on top. He used Applewood to smoke the meatloaf. This is my new favorite dish, it was awesome. I will see if I can find out the recipe and post it. Has anyone ever had smoked meatloaf?Sent from my SM-T520 using Tapatalk

I need to get my smoker fired back up.Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
Poisonfangs85
Now that's what I'm talking about! A beer brat with bacon covered in meat! Looking forward to the recipe, I don't smoke but for something like that I may start.

WigWagWorkshop
Smoke makes any meat taste better! They bacon and brat, keep the hamburger meat from drying out during the long smoking process, since it does not have much fat. -Steven

Nordraw
Sounds like " Paradise by the dashboard lights" to me. Did you get a recipe for it?
iiloverr
I've never heard of this . You should ask if he can write down the recipe so you can't post it.
rfwjr
OK Beef, Brat, and Bacon. I do not see a down side to this. I will be watching for the recipe.
CHRIS MARKERT
We rap our meatloaf in bacon. Keeps the meat moist and the bacon gets all crispy. I call it heaven loaf!!!Sent from my Z930L using Tapatalk
Fazzman
Interesting,I make mine with a mix of sausage and beef. Have also done it with ground turkey but didnt like it as much. My grandparents are cattle ranchers so getting good beef is easy.
