kruton Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 I bought a pair of the 7-1/4" pliers wrench by Knipex a little while back. I liked them so much I went after more. These things aren't cheap, but man they are some great pliers. Thought I would try out the cobras too. These are both the 10" pliers. And no tool shopping trip is complete without...Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk 2
rfwjr Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 Good looking pliers Kruton. Congrats on the new tools.
JerryNY Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 One thing I love my pliers wrench for is for straightening out dented putty knifes or painters tools etc. I hate when my favorite one hits a screw or nail or something and dents the blade. The Knipex pliers wrench acts like a mini metal brake and after a little metal bending all but the worst dents can be smoothed out pretty well!
Andrull Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 Yeah, they are just awesome for bending and straighten thing, thightning nuts and a lot of other random stuff. Probably one of the most usefool and versatile tools I own.
99_XC600 Posted September 11, 2015 Report Posted September 11, 2015 After having my Cobra's for about 6 weeks now. They are my go to tool. I haven't even looked at my channel locks which is a shame because i love them.
BK13 Posted September 12, 2015 Report Posted September 12, 2015 I have a fair number of Alligators and a Cobra or two, but I want to pick up a couple Pliers Wrenches...

I have air conditioning class this semester and I guarantee they will get used in the shop.I love them. I have the 7-1/4" and 10" now and I use them all of the time. I just feel like I get a better grip when I use them. The one thing I would like is the new adjustment button they have now that allows you to push the handle to tighten them. Mine are the style that you have to push in the button to move. Other than that I will probably never use my old Craftsman channel locks again!Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
Atlas2000 Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 Never used any, but they look very well made!

Iv been using a cheap no name linesman for years so I decided to buy the knipex and they are very well made.
ItsaBanana Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 They look sweet. Had a look on the UK Amazon site and their VDE tool range is same price as my CK tools, both are German companies. Knipex have some nice networking crimpers. Going to have to check them out. Thanks.
electromage Posted September 16, 2015 Report Posted September 16, 2015 Those look nice. I have a pair of Knipex cable cutters, and I love them.
