  1. https://www.festoolusa.com/power-tools/track-saws/circular-saw-hkc-55-eb-plus-561692 its the HKC55. I have the cordless version that runs on any of their batteries. Also have two tracks for it. Absolutely awesome saw and track system. Dead on accurate angles. I also have the TS55REQ corded track saw. I cut all of my sheet goods down to size with that.
  2. Wow. Look at me getting into social networking. I'm a big boy now.
  3. Thanks Buddy! Can't wait to get the little guy in there The next one will be Part Double Dueceroni
  4. Nice Comp! How do you like the multi tool?
  5. Well.....IF.....I build the garage, part three There will of course be a need for permits etc etc etc. If the garage idea falls apart or I decide to keep the basement shop, I will be adding a new floor to the shop, securing walls, insulating and adding some type of heat source. It's a wee bit cold down there right now!
  6. John, are those CNCd or are you doing to with a jigsaw? They look phenomenal!
  7. Just specific parts of my basement. I am planning on building a garage in the relatively near future and my shop will more likely move out to that area (bigger shop=bigger tools) so the walls are actually temporary and are not anchored to the foundation but rather pressure fit in place and anchored to the ceiling joists.

  9. Well, the cabinet is done. It is acting as a charging unit and drill storage along with room for several smaller F style clamps and some of my XL Dewalt clamps! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah. I just cleared my sawstop off and made the darn French cleat.
  11. That's what I was thinking on the 1x @Jronman as far as the sawstop....meh. I'm being lazy!
  12. Not really a tool but I just got a couple of Shapton Whetstones, 1000 and 8000 grit. Looking forward to trying these guys out!
  13. Nice!!!! I've heard great things about that saw!
  14. I'm running the Makita XDT15 and the Dewalt DCF887. Both are fantastic machines and cover all of the work I could possibly need. The assist mode on my Dewalt took some getting used which I did but with the Makita assist mode I don't even use that mode on the Dewalt. I figure enough power to driver Volkswagen sized lags with the Dewalt is good enough for me! My Makita does all of my precision work and assembly in the shop while my Dewalt will be getting a serious work out in the spring when I start a large heavy timber pergola out back.
  15. Nice work Travis, you made the trim boards yourself? Great work man.
  16. In typical Chris fashion, I like to fly by the seat of pants. I started this as a utility cabinet. Then figured, a quick and easy no frills plane cabinet. My shop is a disaster right now, still and cannot get chargers and batteries organized so it changed to a charger unit. Then today, while in the office (yukka yukka yukka) it hit me that my small clamps don't have a home so lo and behold...a battery charging shelf unit with small clamp storage! Voila! Anyways, it ain't done yet, I have to figure out a wall mount and add some finish. I was thinking French cleat but that means cleaning off my table saw which is currently storing my chargers, batteries, small clamps etc. so I'm thinking a couple of 1x supports screwed to the studs. Also of note, I chamfered all of the edges of the wood with a black plane which shows as having spaces on the butt joints. They are actually completely in contact. I wasn't sure where I was going with this when I started planing and truthfully when I start to plane I just go go go... Man I hate being this disorganized but for a cheap storage rack it's actually coming out alright.
  17. A little more headway on this project... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Oh and one more thing, it's a two level storage tray for misc bit storage too.

Decent set with drill bits and brad bits plus drivers and spades. Pretty decent kit in a large storage box made by Tanos. It doesn't quite fit what you were looking for but hey, it matches his drill!!
