Too bad your having problems. It is a PITA to clear some jams but I don't get that many with mine. I will say of you use a 3.0 battery I get like two sticks up and I need a new battery but running 4s and 5s makes a big difference. Oh oh and by the way.....Flexvolt makes EVERYTHING better.....hear that Hitachi??????
  3. Did anyone here get a Reaxx saw? That is going to suck. Big time. Leave it to a lawyer to get his grimy money sucking digits into the trades / woodworker lobby. Being a very happy owner of a Sawstop CNS175TGP36, I can honestly say that my saw is a masterpiece but this is crap. Every company should have rights to protect their customers.

Awesome work Rich! Fantastic job all around sir!
  5. Yeah it really is a solid and well, balanced tool plus made in Switzerland. I have two Festool sanders too and I would really consider the Bosch to be almost the same quality. Wonderful machine!
  6. Use it all the time Rich, I've been a devout fan of it for about three years now and love the paper on my Bosch ROS65VCL and when it's hooked up to my MIDI it's.....
  7. Try this Jay... parts breakdown too... http://www.ereplacementparts.com/hitachi-m12v-1234-router-314-15amp-electronic-variable-speed-parts-c-7927_13365_15604.html
  8. Yeah, half of the planes pictured are actually Veritas planes. I like the Kanuks planes. Really solid. Pictured is a router plane with the specialty cutter. A scrub plane, a bullnose plane and the sweet plow plane with fence! For Lie Nielsen there is the Low Angle block with adj mouth, skew block, router and my beautiful tongue and groove. Not pictured is my LN low angle jack rabbet plane! Almost half and half with me, I love them both and yup, some of the Veritas tools can be a few dollars cheaper. Definitely different tools though.
  9. Good for you bro. I've got the brushless subcompact screwdriver, the FL12 light, the vacuum, two jackets and the rotary tool (from the UK it's currently NAINA). They are great tools.

That's a cool hobby Rich and quite a beautiful piece of property!
  11. Welcome to the forums Jay. Glad to have you here.
  12. Wow Andrew, thanks for sharing that, I don't have the Planex but that would be a fantastic idea on my drill press!
  13. Dude, it's all smoke and mirrors. Everybody has preferences. I have used all the major US available brands. I think it's really a personal preference more than anything. My brother is a plumber and hates Dewalt and loves Milwaukee because of the specialty tools but he loves using my Dewalt and Makita's at my home. I don't let him in the same room with my Festools. It's funny how some guys treat their tools. I don't make money with mine yet but in a year and a half my tools will be making me money part time.
  14. Why would I want to associate my Makita tools with some turd sandwich with a Fuel logo??????? My God! The blasphemy!!!!!!!!
  15. Actually Rich, I don't really know. I've never had a dedicated D.C. unit like this before. I have one 10' section of Jose already but was thinking if I run a ceiling extension cord I could move it about. I think eventually the shop may move so ridgid ducting is out of the question for me right now. What do you do?
  16. Thanks bro. Super max just came out with this one and a smaller one plus some air cleaners to add to their line up of wood working tools. I tried this out last night, it's loud, not terribly loud, way less than my Ridgid shop vac but it's amazing how much volume this thing has.
  17. I've got the single battery u it and like it a lot. Very solid but light weight, definitely glad I waited for this one to get released, it's awesome.
  18. Awesome post Rich. What a beaut! Can't wait to see this done, that will be a great addition to the shop
  19. Truthfully Rich, most of those are specialty planes though not pictured is my rabbet jack plane. I did just purchase a Stanlet Bedrock 604 and 606 for refurbishment and as I get into more hanplane work, my bench planes will be old antiques like those. I'd rather not drop 300+ on a bench plane! Besides, those Bedrocks are works of art waiting to be reborn! I can't wait to do a cabinet like that though.
  20. Yeah I haven't heard of any really highly rated ones but that remote is sweet plus the fan is actually pretty nice in the shop
  21. Yeah Rich, I used it all the time in my last shop. I just got some new filters. I ended up getting the three speed Grizzly and it's amazing how much that thing takes in.
