I try to stick with Douglas Fir. It seems like when you get pine I could be straight as and arrow in the morning but by the end of the you could make a rocking chair with it. They grow this stuff so fast and cut it young it is less stable.

Nice saw. I used to work with a guy that had one. I picked it up one day to use it and it had a short in it and it lit my ass up. The all metal case is nice looking but I can see why they switched over.

I'm really not looking for a monitored system. I live next to a church and the cops always sit in the parking lot so I looking for a wireless system I can do my house and and place motion sensors in my garage and trailer that will set the base off thats in the house with a siren

Nice work and a nice stand. A single cup of coffee is just a tease. You need to start your day with a pot of coffee then the largest cup you can find to get you through to lunchtime.

I really love the old hardware stores. I look for old window parts plumbing supplies and whatever and buy as much as I can. I find myself using more and more of my stockpile on jobs the harder it is to find this stuff. A lot of times people don't want to replace things of can't afford to replace them so if you can fix it it puts some cash in your pocket and most the times it bring you back for the bigger jobs.

In my travels I like to find the Mom and Pop hardware stores that have been around for ever. You can find some stuff you can not find anymore. They can be a gold mine. The big box stores have a lot of stuff but sometimes the little guy has them beat.
