  1. I'm not criticizing I'm just saying. As for being a surveyor I give up all the props. I took a basic surveying class last spring and it push my math skills to the limit. We had to use the transit not the total station. Anybody that thinks being a surveyor is a easy job is dead wrong. People just see the guy standing there holding the rod and thinking how easy that job is.
  2. I does come in handy when you are calculating Stairs, roof pitch, Floor loads. Beam loads and how much of a discount you can get on that new tool.

  6. If it is still sore in 4 or 5 days you probably still have something in there. Get one of those first aid scalpels and start to cut away. The first tell sign will be if pus shots out that something is still in there. Good luck
  7. Looking good madman. Always use Dug Fur whenever you can get it.
  8. Good job Chris. The shop is coming along great, looking forward to see it when its done. I'm really kicking myself for not picking up a KAPEX when they had the recon sale. I thought about to long and when I called they were all sold but, this time around I'm going to jump on it as soon as I see it.
  9. Well if thats the case I must own half the roads then. My kids loved Lego's growing up. Stashed away I still have my lego's and erector sets in the basement I could never bring myself to get rid of them.

  14. You should be able to take some sheet metal and make something up or just take your measurements to a sheet metal shop and have one made for under 40 bucks.

  18. I remember seeing this beast Porter-Cable - BN200V12 Cordless Finish Nailer This cordless finish nailer from Porter-Cable can be powered either by a battery or by a conventional hose-and-compressor setup This finish nailer shoots straight 18-ga. nails and uses a 12v battery to power a small onboard compressor. After two or three shots, the compressor empties and has to recharge
  19. I remember those days and I'm glad they are over. It is amazing what you will do and put up with to put a dollar in your pocket.
  20. You don't know how many times I've been driving down the road and see a Total station set up and the crew is way down the road. It would be so ease to stop and throw that in the truck and drive off.
