i think the big isssue is that the battery is programmed to not charge if it senses a cell with low voltage.

open it up and see how much grease is in there. its very easy to open, just remove 4 screws.

ok, so i used a %10 off coupon and picked one up at home depot for $90 it blows pretty good and its really small, which will be easy to keep in the van. i also like the rubber end on the extension, which is nice so you dont scratch things.

how much does it actually blow? does it blow like the exhaust on a small vacuum?

do you find the dewalt to be more bulky than the pasldoe? how about weight?

anybody know when these will be available?

i only wish the radio could play music off a usb thumb drive. i guess the usb is just to supply power only....

i just bought the new dewalt radio, and oh my god, this thing really rocks! seriously, this radio has a ton of bass, and sounds clear even at high volume. time to get rid of my makita and milwaukee radios. lol i have to admit to doing something stupid though. i kept pressing the power button and was wondering why it wouldnt turn on. i thought i had a bad radio. i then quickly figured i had to hold the power button to turn it on. oops!

Yes it real easy. You may have to slide the rubber boot forward a bit, which you can do since you'd have the torx screws removed anyways.

53? real easy. all you have to do is remove 2 torx screws in front.

the biggest thing is not having the exposed bit holder. its flush in front. that takes a little getting used to. but the push button bit ejection is nice. you dont need 2 hands to remove the bit.

So is this the same as the dcf895 but without the pushbutton bit release?
