  1. DeWALT makes great miter saws but is slowly falling behind the competition. I could see a large redesign in the next gen sliding miter from DeWALT. I won't hold my breath it will probably be awhile haha.
  2. I still buy it but so far my stuff is the only stuff I've seen in person outside a store or online. No one in my crew will buy Flexvolt. Maybe they will once the boss retires and they take over. I cant even sell brand new flexvolt stuff for cheap to them.
  3. @JakeDewalt I agree. Some DeWALT tools may be long in the tooth or be lacking in convenience features, but they are able to complete the job and at the end of the day if it completes the job, thats all that matters.
  4. CPO was missing out on all the permathread action so heres one for CPO. CPO is having a $99 sale on over 600 items. might be worth a look. 2 days only.
  5. acme has some decent deals today including 2.0 dewalt batteries for 67% off, I would check times on deals many of them are timed deals. Kinda like a tool version of prime day.
  6. if our crew ever were to get a job at a hospital I doubt they would be capable of keeping it clean.

    Bosch Brute

Having both a bit and a socket on the chuck probably wouldn't make sense for applications that need a deep socket but for shallow nuts and bolts it might be okay.
  8. If you had a 20v stapler or a hand stapler which would you use? Atleast for me I have found air staplers easier and better to use. I would guess someone who is really good at a swing hand stapler would be as fast as some one with an air stapler but for a rookie like me I'm faster using air stapler.

cool thing is you can leave the t25 bit on the impact while you use a socket.
  10. A guy at work has a sink in his shop but it is kinda a cool. He set it up in in such a way where his work bench covered the sink but where the sink was he had a pair of hinged doors that would open up to allow access to the sink but would close over the sink for increased work area. Would allow for a sink and yet not take up valuable work space.
  11. no thanks. I prefer air staplers. much faster in my opinion and doesn't require swinging but if the air hose was replaced with a battery it would be even better.
  12. thought we could use this. Ima start it off with a 15% off router bit sale code to use is e7g2 link to router bits http://mcfeelys.us14.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=6cd853aae384a758d60b6c109&id=6be4d6a224&e=c57973891f link to clearance router bits which are upto 50% off and combines with the 15% off deal. http://mcfeelys.us14.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=6cd853aae384a758d60b6c109&id=d0386dc133&e=c57973891f 15% Discount does not include Festool Router Bits, or any other MAP priced item. 13. not really a deal but this is now one more place you can acquire Milwaukee stuff.
  14. @Sluggo74 wow it even converts to a 3/8 drill and orbital sander. according to the box.
  15. we just need to invent a poor mans track saw with good dust collection and maybe tearout prevention if it doesn't already have good tear out protection.
  16. I've tried it or plumr before and it only helped for a short time. Maybe a couple months which is not a full fix in my opinion. The rusty junk is all over the pipe so an auger might be the best option.
  17. Been working on this drawing today for a side job I have. I hope to start building it soon. Just using our old tv as a second larger screen for a bit. The desk is one I built 4 years ago. I'm at that point where I get to figure up materials. I will be using my new spreadsheet I created which happens to include a prototype of a logo a friend of mine is making for me.
  18. would be cool to see a stapler for things like Tyvek and kraft faced insulation. Would be tricky to get compact with a slide pack.
  19. They have the same camera so regardless of which one you use, you'll get similar results. The bigger screen on the iPad will make editting easier but the smaller size of the 6s will make capturing video easier. An easy way to transfer files between Apple devices is via airdrop. I think you access it from control center. I'm sure there's tutorials how to use it. I haven't used it before on an iPhone or iPad. Mine are too old that they don't have this feature. I hope this helps.
  20. Depends on the phone. Apple has an app called iMove that works with their products and I'm sure Google has a similar app or you could probably find an app from the play or app store that is inexpensive or free that edits videos. Also may want to check out @overanalyze's video tour of his new van. It is done well and you may learn some things that you may want to try in your video?

to me the hercules battery looks a tad more blocky. The color looks nice. The metal chuck is a nice addition for a bargain tool.
  22. For those who like to shop at Factory Authorized Outlet, the full line of Milwaukee is now available.
  23. Bought a flexvolt tracksaw t1 kit, flexvolt table saw t1 kit, kreg pocket hole jig, and some trim head screws from Acme tools. I utilized the 15% off deal. Saved around $160 and got free shipping. I also bought a 1000 of each 1in, 1-1/4 in, and 1-1/2 in pocket hole screws from Mcfeeley's and utilized the free shipping offer. seemed like some decent 4th deals this year.
  24. I agree. Most everything I have has it's place and not limited to just tools. I even do it with the fridge haha.
