madman_us
nice vid man - that radial arm saw - is that a 20inch one? (at 7sec)
DR99
Seen that teased in Dewalt videos for awhile now. I hope Dewalt decides to build it eventually. It might have been delayed to add a Brushless motor. Would love to see a cordless miter saw that's competitive and nice at the same time it also can't be too expensive either. Bigmikez
man DR I hope they did and with brushless motor would b awesome!!!
RickyMcGrath
man that will be nice. Couple that with the 5.0 batteries.... I'm going to need a bigger trailer.
chadlanthier
That is such a tease. That will probably pull the video now.
madman_us
until then, they prolly gonn have 6.0 batteries, or 7.0 - bosch already came up with a 6.0 - so just a matter of time that dewalt gonna follow
DooDar
What platform is that working off? the pic shows the battery port but it looks more like the 28v connection than the 18v/20v XR system to me!!!Or am I just missing something?
madman_us
I agree - must be something higher than the normal 20V line
chadlanthier
I don't know it looks like I could definitely be the 20v lineup. But I could be wrong. I'm hopeful that 2015 is going to be an interesting year for dewalt. Fingers crossed.
DooDar
I hope they do bring it out on the 18/20 v XR range so it will be one battery fits all !!!!! A brushless motor plus high 5.0 batteries should be more than enough
Bigmikez
That will suck if it's not for 20v line :}
madman_us
hopefully it gonna be enough to power a miter saw
Mr. Yellow
Looks like 20v Max/18v XR to me...
Samuel L.
Looks like 20v Max/18v XR to me... After holding my drill beside my screen for 2 minutes I 99% sure your right. Yea it has all the same gaps and everything. The 2 wider Copper plates with the 2 metallic plates between them. It looks like it has a 6 inch slide capacity witch is great, I feel like at that size its going to be compact enough to tote around and not have tons of slide hanging out the back.

Duns221
i wish they made a cordless palm sander, there are many times when i have to sand above my head and it would really help with visibility
Mattias Blomqvist
And what about those prototypes laying on the desk down to the left at 0.33? Don't they look like new cordless angle grinders or am I wrong?
DooDar
I was in my local tool centre today and I asked when the cordless mitre saw was going to be available in the UK?He replied with " The cordless mitre saw will not be coming to the UK " Does any one know any different? Is this right? And if so why not??Makita has a 18v cordless mitre saw already available to buy!! So why can BLUE POO have one in the UK but not DEWALT? He also said the dam second fix nail gun will not be available until September now!!! That date just keeps on moving further and further away!!!! Not a happy man!!! overanalyze
I never have seen this before. How sweet would that be. 5aH batts with a brushless motor would be plenty for a small trim job.
Mr. Yellow
2nd fix nailer releasedate around september. Haven't heard anything else (read: earlier) so that's no real news.Interesting about the cordless mitersaw. If anything it should come to the UK I reckon...Wouldn't mind one myself for trimwork indeed. But then I'd need a big stand that folds into something really compact as well. I hate cutting on the floor as I see people often doing.
