Do people actually fall for this on Ebay?

Your paying almost double what retail is on the tool box!! Although I will say I don't know how you ship something like that affordability. I wonder if they just go an buy one from HD if someone actually spends the money on it. It just boggles my mind!!

That's why you should always sell Festool on eBay. People will pay two or three times the value because it says Festool yet have no idea the actual value. Even more funny when only authorized sellers can sell and in the ISA those prices are fixed.

It gets worse, have you ever searched Amazon gift cards?

What is the freaking point of this!! I just did a little Googling  it seems like people do that to earn cash back on credit cars, or are using stolen payments information so they don't give shit if they over pay.

I buy a lot on eBay, and I get some pretty good deals, but that requires knowing what other things cost. There's a lot of stupid sellers that you look at a post like really??? You think I'm stupid? But then there's some great deals on there. eBay is cluttered with people trying to rip stupid people off, you just have to sift through all the BS.

In my area a certain small chain of pawn shops sprinkles the tool areas with NIB Harbor Freight stuff and charges double or triple.

There's a pawn shop in my city that keeps posting on craigslist a used set of MAC security bits for $280, it retails for $140 new. Lots of that here...I've only ever found one good deal for tools at a pawn shop in Tampa, $40 for a new set of Snap on screwdrivers. It was listed at $65 but I'm pretty good at sweet talking girls, didn't hurt I was the only guy there that was dressed nicely and has ever seen the inside of a gym. :P
