  1. My local Menards is having a sale on knipex pliers. It shows that the prices are good until the 16th. Of course I wound up buying a pair. I bought the 10 inch cutters. They have some pliers in the electrical department and they are also on sale.
  2. I bet it's the 3/8 fuel impact wrench. You talked about getting it before.

    New car

Sweet ride! If I owned it I wouldn't be able to keep rear tires on it. I think that this year viper made a bit over 500 hp.
  4. Get a set of cobalt drill bits. They drill through steel like butter. Don't get the cobalt coated ones though. I have a set of Irwin cobalt bits and they have held up fine.
  5. They like to toy with our wallets too.
  6. Mine is an older fluke. I'll try to post a picture tomorrow. I think it actually says John Fluke cooperation on it. It is also all black.
  7. I use wipes too. My Milwaukee tools look new when I'm done cleaning them.
  8. No I haven't. I did try it on an old full size school bus and it didn't hesitate at all.
  9. That's what I was talking about. It is an amp clamp but it plugs into the meter. I was wondering if there was any difference at all.
  10. Those GTRs are definitely quick. I'm not much on them though. I never got into the Japanese soorts cars much.
  11. Is there an advantage to a separate clamp meter versus one that plugs into the jacks on your regular voltmeter? I have a fluke one that plugs into my meter and it seems to work fine.
  12. You are going to love those screwdrivers Kruton. I think that is the same set I bought. I've had mine for a while and they are holding up fine. The handles don't seem to be bothered by parts washer fluid either. I used that to clean the handles and they look new after that.
  13. Here is a quick in action video I shot today while removing a CV axle. It was on a minivan we are working on and we had to remove the axle to get access to part of the transaxle. Here you guys go. Maybe one day I'll finally remember to shoot these videos in landscape form.
  14. Yeah it's been a couple of years or so. Too bad the pictures didn't carry over
  15. My grandpa isn't a farmer, he uses it to take care of his land. It's a 1010. It isn't a lecarra wheel, I don't know what brand it is.
  16. It as only natural that j got infected with the hot rodding bug. My grandpa was one of the first hot riders here. He was one of the first to have a v8 swapped truck here plus he chopped the top on it and put a nova subframe on it. My dad and his brother were always finding ways to get their vehicles faster. My dad has a 47 ford that was his first car that he put a small block Chevy in that he ran back and forth to Nashville where he was going to school at. He still has it and I doubt he will ever get rid of it. I haven't done much to my truck yet but I'd like to fix it up after I get out of tech school and put a bigger and more powerful motor in it. I haven't decided on what motor though.
  17. Thanks guys. I forgot to mention that this is my grandpas truck but I helped him build it my junior and senior year of high school. I've done a lot to it but it isn't mine.
  18. The other day in chat I told protoolnut that I would shoot a video of the hot rod running and since protool has done a lot of cold start videos I figured I would make this one. The truck hasn't been started in a while and it was about 45 degrees out. Here is how it went.
  19. I had to change the heater core on a fwd Pontiac and I could not have gotten the lower radiator hose and heater hoses off without them. I think this is the pair I used. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000F5JM0O/ref=pd_aw_fbt_263_img_3?ie=UTF8&refRID=1DDE7Q0S4DH14BKA4Q2G
  20. Fast and loud uses some of their stuff too. I think counts customs does as well
  21. Dan needs this to get revenge on that log.
  22. A lot of newer cars and trucks have a projector lens anymore. A lot of aftermarket housings have them too.
  23. Those old peterbilts do look pretty darn good. I don't really care for the looks of a modern semi much.
