  1. After watching the video again, I must admit.... I am coming away more impressed with the storage system. For $280 It doesn't seem to bad when you consider your normal method of storing your tools. For independent contractors who are going from job to job, this system would be the way to go, in my opinion. Similar to their nail guns and out door stuff, I will be waiting for others to buy so I can see some reviews.
  2. Touche', sir. I guess I didn't really think of it that way? Makes sense, because I am not really sure what application you could do that will make the stapler heatup too much.
  3. I am a little late on this, but I liked the M12 Stapler... even though I didn't see that it was brushless? Which I found to be quite odd. Also, I thought the level bag looked cool, but I am guessing it is going to be very expensive. Lastly, the packout system I found to be interesting. It does look awesome and pretty innovative.
  4. These storage systems look awesome, however, I will be curious to see how much they will be? I am guessing they are going to break the bank.
  5. I agree with some of the comments above. While I think the chainsaw and table saw will be cool, I question if the technology will be behind compared to the other companies.
  6. Yeah, I've seen similar things to this. Maybe it's a physiological thing... like you think you're getting a killer deal!
  7. uh.... this might be the coolest cordless "tool" I have ever seen. I'm with you though, I would probably wait and see what the reviews are before purchasing. FB82
  8. I have the exact same instrument. I like it a lot, personally. In terms of anything laser wise, I think DeWalt and Bosch stand above the rest. I'm just hoping that DeWalt will now come out with an angle finder, similar to the Bosch. FB82
  9. I'll be curious to see how it actually runs if they do use two batteries. My first question will be if it is going to run as a system? or if both batteries are going to run independently? Also, I would assume that there is going to be other "new" stuff coming out with the release in June. The next generation of miter saw might wait another year, in terms of their priority items... especially since Milwaukee, opposed to DeWalt, doesn't specialize in woodworking.
  10. Hilarious post. I actually bought four of these last week (individually) to test them out. While I don't think they are the greatest thing since sliced bread, I'm assuming the system will get better when more people download the app. Plus, with all of the free stuff they are giving out in Wisconsin, that should help their situation.
  11. I agree with you there. The weight doesn't really bother me either. The only thing I use my 2.0 for is my flash light. Everything else I use is 4.0 and above. I'll take the added weight if the runtime is up, obviously. FB82
  12. Is there a price on this yet? I am pretty sure their brushed model sells for around $40.00... so this might be double that? Not a huge Ryobi expert, but it sure seem that they have been really stepping up their game with the cordless tools. FB82
  13. The Milwaukee rep lets us try our the mid torque on the site. It was good for some of the wood timber work we are doing. However, our equipment guys on site still prefer the full sized brushless Milwaukee.
  14. It was late last week, but I bought a Tekton torque wrench (I might have cheeped out), a 24" Tekton rachet and 4 of the Milwaukee ticks for $10.00 a piece from Home Depot. I have not been hearing many god things about the Tick, but for 66% off I figured I would give them a shot. FB82
  15. Woah! Nice grab you got there.... I got mine about three years ago and I love it. I use it all the time, plus the power is pretty good for a 12V as well. FB82
  16. Our local store is struggling with the miter and table saw sales as well. I know they are selling the circular saw, recip saw and grinder like crazy, but I have been hearing the same issues in concern with the actual weight of the tool. I'm sure they will come up with something, as the tools somehow keep getting smaller and yet they have more power and runtime. FB82
  17. This thing looks awesome, super smart idea
  18. Typical, I own the brushed version that I bought last summer. Per usual, Milwaukee comes out with a brushless and so does Ryobi. I like my trimmer, but I am sure the run time is substantially better with this brushless model. FB82
  19. Not a tool, but I recently bought a weather guard tool box for my truck. I had a cheaper made one, but it was leaking... and there is nothing more annoying than rusting tools because your tool box is not performing. I like the storage space and the level holder, plus my local contractor store will guarantee it for life, which I think it cool. FB82
  20. Also, the router looks awesome, especially for that price.
  21. To drill holes into concrete? In all seriousness, that seems like a tool you would only use sparingly as a home owner.
  22. I have used the 16g quite a bit and I like it... also, their framer isn't too bad either. I am sure this will be an awesome gun to their lineup.
  23. I picked up a two pack of Irwin demo screwdrivers from Lowes. For $7.99 they can't be too bad Item # 757772 Model # 1948798
  24. Correct. It better be high in caffeine for that little amount!
