  1. I have built two different decks using the M18 fuel. One the first generation, the second being the one-key. I didn't have a problem with either one, as they both drove screws just fine for me.
  2. I need to step up my game, didn't even know they had a m12 RA impact!
  3. And the handle is complete. Now my 9.0 will fit and I don't have to complain about the flood light! Thanks again for the input!
  4. The drywall gun and cutout tool is a smoking deal in my opinion. Holy smokes.
  5. @Framer joe I'm with you.. I am curious about the rear handle, even though I normally never use a worm drive style saw.
  6. Does anyone have a price on this? Or a decent guess?
  7. @Bremon Concur. Best cordless circular saw I have used, at this point. Smooth, powerful, good runtime, etc. Also, I like their safety switch and starting mechanism better than say Milwaukee too. I am with you... since the only real complaint that I have and have heard is the depth adjustment. Hopefully we are not the only two with this complaint and they make the appropriate changes with their future saws.
  8. Awesome, you will love them. Depending on your application, they also make some things that you can add to your bags too. I have a set and love them... I couldn't ask for anything better. Lastly, if you don't mind me asking, how has your scope of work changed?
  9. Kinda stupid, since I don't use it all that often, but I like the Milwaukee M12 spotlight a lot. I use it more recreationally, but I think it works pretty good. It's kind of handy to have around, not really something I needed by any means, but something I wanted lol. FB82
  10. jeez la weez! The stuff that Makita comes out with is outrageous. They have some of the coolest tools around.
  11. I agree with @BMack37. I have mostly Milwaukee cordless at this point, but if I had to make the switch I would probably go with Makita. They literally have every cordless tool known to man, so that is a plus (even if some of them are garbage). Also, they are always on the ball coming out with new stuff and trying to improve. I don't see too much Makita in my neck of the woods, but from what I can tell the people who do use it seem to love it.
  12. I don't really know why they would make this a 20v? So it won't even be close to the Makita or their Flexvolt in terms of power? I guess if they were going to do it, just make the rear handle a Flexvolt? The 2x20v batteries would work, but isn't that just going to piss everyone off? First they make the Flexvolt instead of upgrading their 20V, then they make it so you have to have two batteries to run one tool to be competitive? I could be way off base, just my two cents.
  13. @Jronman, Yeah, I think that could be a possibility? I think the system looks great... as it should since they have been able to see what the yellow and black company has done for the last few years. I am sure they will come up with something to make it user friendly.
  14. Hmmm, that is interesting. Makita just blowing up the cordless tool market at the moment!

This is crazy to me. We have own in town and I usually just go in there for the occasional hand tool. I will have to take a closer look at these for sure.
  16. l I had never even heard of Rigid until just a few years ago. Lots of plumbers had them at a hospital job I was working on. They all seemed to love them.
  17. Very valid point.... something that I didn't think about, to be honest. One of Milwaukee's videos said that they are still looking to design and add additional items to it... however, with their new system not sure how they would make it similar to DeWalts in that regard.
  18. I am not an expert, but it looks like you are about to get into some electrical work?
  19. I completely agree with you. If you are working off the back of your truck these are perfect... our particular job has the 12" miter and table saw in one spot. However, we do have a cordless 7.5" DEWALT miter that we can use floor to floor. Again, this all depends on what you do for a living, in my opinion.
  20. @Bremon Very good point. I know they came out with a planer, but they never had one previously to my knowledge. With that, no table saw, belt sander, etc. However, I believe they do have a corded router? So I guess randomly they have wood working tools lol.
